“Oh…you definitely have sex all the time,” Hazi whispered, just as Adew walked through the door and wrapped his arms around him from behind. He kissed his neck right in front of Hazi. His cousin’s eyes went wide.
“I have to go to physical therapy. Take care of Calla for me,” he said, placing another kiss on his neck. “Hello Hazi. It’s nice to see you again.”
Hazi waited for Adew to walk out of the house before he started to scream. “He remembered my name! He remembered my name!”
Nylune sighed and moved to the counter to put away the groceries. Hazi stopped abruptly and stared at him.
“You two looked cozy. Did something happen? That didn’t look like just sex to me.”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
Hazi stepped close to the counter. “He kissed your neck and held you tight as if you were his omega. You’re together, aren’t you? Don’t even deny it. It was written all over your face.”
Nylune covered his hot cheeks. “We are kind of together.”
“I knew it, that’s why you didn’t want me to come. You want your alpha to yourself.” Hazi gave him a mischievous look. “He’s that good, huh?”
“Oh, my goodness stop.” Nylune gathered the toiletries Hazi bought for him and went upstairs to his room.
“You can tell me,” Hazi said, following him. “Let me live vicariously through you. I’ve always wondered how Adew is in bed.”
A growl slipped out of Nylune’s mouth before he could stop it.
“Did you just growl at me?”
“No.”
“You did. I heard you. Oh shit, you’re possessive of him. You like him, don’t you?” Nylune ignored him and packed the toiletries in the washroom. He returned to find Hazi staring at his bed, frowning. “I don’t smell his scent in here. Are you two not sharing a room?”
“No.”
“Nylune?”
“What?”
“You’re already sleeping with him. There’s nothing more intimate than that?” Hazi pulled him to a stop as he tried to walk out of the room. His cousin looked at him for a long time, his gaze assessing. “Fine, don’t tell me. You’ve always been weird. Let’s go eat before your food gets cold.”
Nylune took his hand. “Thanks.”
“Are you thanking me for the food or the fact that I let your sleeping arrangement with the hottest alpha on the planet slide?”
“Both.” Nylune kissed his cheek even though he knew Hazi hated it. Hazi shoved him away and rushed downstairs. “Where are you running to?”
“Home. My alpha needs me,” he said. “I’ll see you soon. Enjoy the food. I brought some for Adew too.”
“Thank you,” Nylune called as he watched him run out of the house. He felt bad for tricking him, but he wasn’t ready to talk about what was happening between him and Adew. It scared and thrilled him. And he tried his best not to think about it.
“Don’t think about it,” Nylune told himself and made his way to his office. He got some work done, until he got hungry. He went to the cooking station and heated his food. He salivated as he took the food out of the warmer.
“What smells good,” Adew asked as he walked into the room. He came to a stop next to him and dropped a kiss on his cheek. “It would seem I arrived just in time. I’m starving.”
“Let me warm your food,” Nylune said.
“No. Let’s eat together.” Adew pulled a chair next to his, getting into his personal space. Adew was different from the alpha he’d met the night he fell. Nylune never thought he would be so sweet and affectionate. As if to prove his point, Adew leaned close and kissed his lips. “Eat, baby.”
“Yes, alpha,” he said breathlessly. Adew kissed him again and resumed eating. The alpha was slowly turning him inside out…slowly getting him addicted to his kisses.
