“Loni knock it the fuck off. Our boss doesn’t give a shit about you getting the boot from some knock-off president.”

“Yeah Loni, knock it off. He’s mine and I suggest leaving him alone.” With that, I hit her across the face with my gun. Blood spurted from her cut cheek, and busted lip. She screamed but didn’t move to attack me like I wanted her to. “I suggest you leave before Demon finds out what you did.”

Loni stormed off, getting on her bike and roaring away. I turned back to the rest of the dumbasses, feeling much better for making Loni bleed.

“You tell Demon that Hell’s Army’s no more. There’s a new club in town. We’re sick of the pussy ass way he runs this town, and we’re done with it. Tell him to get his shit and get the fuck out of town, or he’ll have to answer to the new president.”

I laughed. I shouldn’t have, but also, I had a damn gun. “I’ll be sure to tell him. Or if you’d like, you can come back with me and tell him yourself. It looks as though you’ve already had a conversation with Demon today, or at least with his fists.” I pointed with my gun to his bruises but put the gun right back where it was.

“You stupid bitch. This isn’t funny. Your man needs to get the hell out of here, or there’s going to be a war.”

“Well, being that I have a gun, and you have a knife I think it’s obvious who’s going to be the winning side.”

Just then a roar of a motorcycle came in our direction, skidding to a halt.

“I’m getting out of here. I’ll be back at the clubhouse.” One of the other bikers zoomed off before the newcomer had a chance to reveal himself.

My heart beat against my chest, but faltered when I realized it wasn’t Demon on the bike. “Donald what the fuck do you think you’re doing?”

The new arrival cried out getting off his bike, a gun in his hand.

“Curtis, I told you to come with me. Hell’s Army is going down. I was just telling Angel here to tell Demon to tuck tail and run before the war.”

“You stupid fucking idiot.” Curtis walked up to me pushing the others away with his gun. “Are you okay, Angel?”

With him up close, I recognized him as the newest prospect. “Yeah. Glad to see you though.”

“Yeah, well I should’ve been here sooner. Demon’s going to kick my ass for slacking. Oh, fuck you’re bleeding.”

I glanced down, blood had soaked the side of my shirt, the wound crusting over a little. “Loni threw her knife at me.”

“What about your face?”

“That was Donald.”

“Wait, Loni’s in on this stupid shit too? Man, you guys fucked up.” Curtis waved his gun around. “Get the hell on your bikes and go back to wherever your dumbasses came from. You wanted a war, I guarantee you’ve got one now. I’d warn your boss, and if you’re smart, pack up and leave now.”

They looked at Donald waiting for him to give them the go ahead. None of them looked as confident as they did when they first got off their bikes.

“Go.” Curtis aimed his gun at Donald’s shoe and shot.

Donald screamed out in pain, dropping his knife, bending over his bleeding foot. The rest of the guys didn’t stick around. They jumped on their bikes and zoomed off.

“Get the hell out of here before I shoot something else.” Curtis shoved Donald with the tip of his boot still aiming his gun.

A police bike pulled up hitting its sirens. “Drop your weapons. Everybody freeze.”

Curtis and I put our guns on the hood of the car far away from Donald and put our hands up. My arm screamed, and the crusted over wound opened, pouring out new blood.

“What do we have here?” The officer asked.

“He shot me officer, and she pulled a gun on me too.” He tried to move his foot over the knife on the ground, but the officer kicked it away.

“Now who’s going to tell me the truth?” He asked.

I told him what happened. Donald stayed quiet, his face angry.

“Donald, I think there’s someone downtown that’d love to have a word with you.” The officer called for a car on his walkie.
