“I’m not going to lie, I like the sound of that, omega,” Alexander says, a bit of a growl to his words, which causes both me and Crew to shiver. “But for now, we should get the two of you fed.”

He squeezes between the two of us, placing his hands on our lower backs and leads us into the kitchen where Davis and Mason are setting down plates of food at the kitchen table.

“Good morning,” Mason calls out, his dimples flashing. “I hope you slept well.”

Crew snickers. “Well, this is awkward as fuck.”

Any remaining tension snaps as we all laugh. Alexander continues leading us to the table where he pulls out a seat for each of us before moving to sit opposite us.

“Everything smells amazing, Davis,” I tell him with a smile, my eyes darting around the table. “I really appreciate youcooking, but before we eat, I just want to apologize for the way I took off yesterday.”

“No worries, Kiki,” Mason assures me as he drops into the seat at the head of the table to my left, reaching over to squeeze my hand. “We were all shocked to find out Crew is our scent match. You clearly needed some time, and that’s completely understandable.”

Davis nods. “We talked with Crew yesterday, but since you missed that conversation, we want to make our intentions clear. Kiara, we want to court both you and Crew—together or separately. Whatever makes the two of you most comfortable.”

“I feel like you missed our interest when we were younger,” Alexander says with a scoff. “So, we want to be a hundred percent upfront. We’re interested inbothof you.”

“Oh,” I squeak. “Really? Why?”

Mason chuckles, shaking his head. “Why? Really? That’s the question you have?”

I bury my face in my hands. “Fuck me.”

“I think it’s a little too soon for that, kitten. We do have to head into work.” When I peek at Alexander from between my fingers, he just winks.

“That wasn’t an offer, Alexander. This is an awkward breakfast conversation, by the way.” I take a deep breath, turning my attention to Mason. “And you want this too? Don’t you think it’s weird since our parents are in a pack?”

He shakes his head. “The fact that you were my stepsister is the only reason I didn’t pursue you when we were younger. Well, that and Crew. Eventually, my mom and Akira pulled me aside to talk to me about how I feel about you. They assured me there was nothing wrong with it, but they asked me to wait until we were both adults.”

“Oh, my gods! Our parents know? That’s it. I’m going to find a hole to bury myself in.”

I pout when all four men just laugh at me.

“You’re all assholes.” Deciding to ignore them, I dig into my breakfast.

They follow suit and soon the only sounds are us devouring the amazing breakfast Davis cooked for us.

“Kiki has told me a lot about all of you,” Crew admits, setting his fork down. “But I don’t think she ever told me what the three of you do for work.”

Mason quickly swallows his last bite of pancakes. “I’m a handyman of sorts. I got a really boring business degree but didn’t know what I wanted to do with it. I ended up getting a job with an older alpha who did home renovations and odd jobs here and in a few nearby towns. He was looking to retire, so he sold me the business after he taught me everything he knows.”

“Does that mean you’re doing the renovations on your pack house?”

“My crew is doing most of it, but I stop in and help them when I can.” Mason grins. “Unfortunately, I spend most of my time traveling between sites and checking on everyone else’s work rather than doing it myself. Putting that business degree to good use.”

“What about you, Alexander?”

The alpha smiles as he pushes his plate away. “I run a butcher shop in town with my brother, Cody. It’s been in the family for years. Luckily, neither of us wanted to do anything different. Otherwise, I don’t know what our parental pack would’ve done. Two of our dads have been running the place, but they’re practically retired at this point. They only come in once a week, so Cody and I can have a day off together.”

Crew returns his smile. “That’s sweet. I’ve never been to a butcher’s shop before. I’ll have to have Kiki bring me by sometime.”

“It’s not all that exciting,” I assure him. “But it’s the only place we get our meat from—even when it was their dads running it.”

“And I’m a real estate agent.” Davis pushes to his feet, collecting everyone’s empty plates. “My office is in town, but I’m not there too often. I work in all the local towns, which are quite spread out, so I spend a lot of time in my car.”

“Oh, that means you can help me and Kiki find a place.” Excitement tinges Crew’s words as the other men freeze.

Davis clears his throat after setting the plates in the sink. “I’d be happy to help with that, but…”
