Schooling my face I returned his smile with one of my own. “Yeah well, I think I put a stop to anything with that Bennet guy.”
Ruin’s eyes blazed. “I didn’t think that was still a thing.” He turned his whole body to gaze across the room at his sister. His shoulders tense.
He was going to go and talk to her I realised with a start.
“It’s not anymore.”
My words made him turn back to me with a grin. “Oh yeah? You sure you put the message across well enough?”
“I’m pretty sure my fist did yeah.” I flexed it on the table and we both laughed. “And if not I will drive it home again.”
Ruin thought I was just sticking up for Chelsea because she was his sister. Not because I would kill anyone who tried to touch her and take her from me.
“You are a good friend Wicked. To both of us.”
Mutely I nodded. I wasn’t a friend to Chelsea. The things I had done to her weren’t things friends did with each other. “Yeah well, I’m going to go and shower. And then you can catch me up on everything I’ve missed in the two days I’ve been gone.” Without another word, I walked away.
I did need to shower but I also wanted to see if I could find Chelsea again. It had been too long since I had touched her face. Like an entire thirty minutes.
That was thirty minutes to fucking long.

I caught up with her just before she reached her room, my hand curled around her wrist and I whirled her around so she fell with a giggle against my hard chest.
One hand grabbed at her ass, the other Reaching behind her to open her door and shuffle us through. kicking it shut behind us.
“Wicked.” Her voice was breathy, her eyes wild. “I thought you said we had to be careful?”
My lips trailed down her jaw, my tongue swiping against her ear lobe. “I did say that didn’t I?” I nibbled my way down her throat. “Maybe I should stop?”
Chelsea made a strangled sound in the back of her throaty. Her hands clutching at me. “Don’t you dare.”
Muffling the sound of my laughter in the crook of her neck. “You missed me as well huh?” Smoothing my hand down her thigh I dragged her knee up and over my hip. Pressing my rapidly growing hard-on against her.
“Have you missed me as much as I’ve missed you?” I ground myself against her.
“Yes.”
I was insatiable when it came to her. I just couldn’t get enough of her.
“Yes.” She groaned and the sound went straight to my dick. “Yes, I miss you already. But we can’t be doing this here.”
She was talking sense. But I just couldn’t seem to let go of her. “What do you suggest?”
“I’m going to move back into Fender’s house. I can’t stay in the clubhouse forever… I could…”
My lips came over hers. “Leave the back door open for me tonight Chelsea. I will come to you and show you just how much I miss you. Tomorrow though.” My eyes met hers. “Tomorrow you get me a key cut.”

“You have found Gemma?” I had stepped into my office in time to overhear the end part of a conversation between Young Blood and Truth.
My little brothers head snapped up where he had been bent over the laptop. “I’ve made contact with Gent. I have no idea if he is still with Gemma.”
Yes,he did. He just wasn’t telling me. Truth never lied. Not ever. But he was definitely hiding something from me now.
“Truth,” I warned. “You need to tell me where they are.” I needed to know. Not because I thought Gemma was the one that had pulled the trigger and sent a bullet into Fender’s body but because I had a feeling she knew who had.
