Boxer snapped his head up sharply.“Not necessarily.”
“What do you mean?”Banger frowned.
“If I remember correctly there were rumors going around that this woman he mentioned and her friend grew up in the same house Robbie did, maybe one or both girls knew more about Robbie than anyone else.Maybe he had a secret hiding place that didn’t burn when the old lady’s house burned down.”He shrugged.“It is possible that we can still get back what Robbie took.”
Finn nodded.“Maybe but it’s been sitting there for nine years.Do you think it’s still around?Someone else probably found it a long time ago.They would have thought they hit the motherlode if they found it.”
Banger growled from the back of his throat.“That little fucker better have hidden it well.”
Boxer nodded.Only Virgil knew what Robbie took.The item was an old family heirloom that only Banger would want back.At least as far as he knew.Robbie had made a terrible choice when he took that and all of the Falcons knew Banger wouldn’t stop until he got it back.“So what do you want to do here, Virgil?”
“We need to get a hold of this Kazzy or Kacey woman.She might know more about Robbie.But we have to be careful, I don’t want the likes of Leon Vincinti to get wind that we are looking for her.She obviously has something to do with him.If she doesn’t tell us what we want to know we can always go higher up the food chain.I’ve already served time for something Robbie did.And I’m not going back for being stupid.”
