“Yes,” Adew said. He pulled out a chair and sat at the counter. The room fell silent as Nylune moved around, preparing their meal. It was strangely comforting to sit there and watch him. For someone who’s body went through so much on a daily basis, it was amazing that Nylune exuded so much calm and harmony. He pulled him in, making him yearn for things he’d let go when he’d said goodbye to Urim. His eyes dropped to his neck again and this time he could see a tiny bit of the claiming mark. A possessive feeling gripped him at the sight of it, making his stomach flutter.
What’s wrong with me?
Fuck. Adew closed his eyes, feeling like an asshole. He had no right to want those things, even though Nylune made him feel whole again. He wasn’t going to be the same selfish bastard he’d been to Urim. Not again. He opened his eyes as Nylune placed his plate in front of him.
“Thanks,” he said.
“You’re welcome,” Nylune said, a tiny smile pulling at his lips. It was the first time Adew had seen him smile. And it hit him sideways. He was a gorgeous omega. “I haven’t cooked for anyone in a long time. You may eat at your own risk.” The playful tone in his voice caused goosebumps to pop on Adew’s arms. Nylune had been tense when he’d walked into the cooking station. What had changed?
“I’ll risk it,” Adew said, digging in. “It must be a change having someone here.”
“Yes,” Nylune looked up shyly. “I didn’t expect you to move in either. Feels kind of strange. But I’ll adjust. You were right to move in.”
“And you got me kicked out of my house. I had nowhere else to go, remember?”
Nylune winced, looking down at his plate. Then he looked up, his grey eyes blazing. Adew loved the fire in those eyes, the challenge. The alpha in him responded. “That wasn’t my fault,” Nylune said, pointing to Calla who was lying at his feet. “Don’t forget you lied to the whole neighbourhood about him. And I had the shock of my life when he ambushed me not once, but twice.”
Adew raised his hands in surrender. “Okay, it’s all my fault. I deserve to be kicked out.”
“I wouldn’t say you deserve it,” Nylune said, his voice taking on a mischievous tone. “But you do deserve to be brought down a peg or two.”
“I think Djohn Moulekk did that and more, don’t you think?” Adew blurted out. He cringed. He sounded pathetic.
“No. I think he made you worse. You’re more of an asshole than before. I could be wrong, since I’ve only ever heard what Hazi read from the media outlets,” Nylune said with a shrug. Adew suppressed the laughter that bubbled inside him.
“I know you didn’t just call me an asshole,” he said. “Come to think of it, this is the second time you called me an asshole.”
Nylune shook his head, his lips quivering as he tried not to laugh.
“It’s more than twice. I’ve called you an asshole alpha in my mind more times I can count,” he said.
Adew shoved to his feet, and he was around the counter in seconds. He picked Nylune up from the chair, shoved between his legs as he braced his ass against the counter. Calla gave a huff at the commotion as his sleep was disturbed and walked out of the cooking station.
“Say asshole again,” he growled, leaning closer. Nylune shivered against him. “Say it.”
“No,” Nylune said, his eyes blazing with defiance. Adew wanted to tame him, show him who his alpha was. Adew stepped back, moved the plates and easily turned him over; laying him face first on the counter. “Oh shit…” Nylune moaned into the smooth surface of the counter.
Adew pulled both their pants down, along with their underclothes. The WAB restricted him a little, but it wasn’t so much that he couldn’t fuck him. He was even surprised that he was doing this while he was in the machine. He was averse to the idea of an omega seeing him in it. But Nylune has seen him at his worst – flat on his ass beside a bathing bot.
It was amazing that Nylune didn’t see him as less of an alpha.
Maybe it was because this wasn’t real. They didn’t exist outside of the experiment. They were in their little surreal world. And he was his alpha, no one else.
Adew ran his fingers over Nylune’s hole. He was already wet for him. Adew slid his cock over his hole, teasing him, before he slammed home. Nylune screamed, arching his back.
“I’ll show you who is your asshole alpha,” he bit out as he thrust in and out of Nylune’s hole in fast strokes that pushed them over the edge so fast that Adew felt Nylune squeeze all around him as he came. Adew pulled out before he could knot him. Nylune protested, reaching for him.
“Don’t worry, I’m not done with you,” he said pulling up their clothes. He took his hand and led him to the guest room. Where he took his time, showing him how much of an asshole he could be. He edged him, refusing him the very thing he knew he wanted… needed. His knot.
“Please, alpha. I need it. Give it to me,” Nylune begged as he writhed beneath him. Adew growled as he slammed into him over and over. Nylune calling him alpha did things to him, even though he knew it wasn’t real.
“Say it again, baby,” he begged.
“Knot me, alpha,” Nylune whimpered, tilting his neck to the side, submitting to him without thought. Adew focused on the claiming mark. His entire body quaked, and he couldn’t hold back anymore. His vision went white as his body froze and his cock thickened at the base, and he knotted the omega. Nylune squeezed him deliciously, draining him dry. And he readily gave him everything. He would give him more if he asked him.
Don’t ask me, Adew silently begged because he knew he wouldn’t refuse. He would tie himself to the omega and never let go.
Selfish asshole, he thought as he gave in to the pleasure thrumming through his veins. He closed his eyes and held the omega tight, blissed out.
