When he arrived, he rushed through the house, searching for his twin. He found him in his room, getting ready for the day.
“You look rested. Did you manage to sleep?”
“I’ll do it,” Hym said.
“What?”
“I’ll get a companion omega.”
Tarymn’s eyes went wide.
“You said it would help with my dreams, right?”
Tarymn hesitated. “I think so. Right now, you’re longing for someone you thought was there. A companion can fill that space. It wouldn’t hurt to try.”
Hym nodded. It made sense.
“Okay,” Hym bit out before he changed his mind.
“I’ll contact the omega placement agency. They’ll send the omegas here, and you can choose whoever you like?”
Hym grimaced at the thought.
As if sensing his unease, his brother stepped close and wrapped his arms around him.
“Everything is going to be fine, brother. I promise,” he said, tightening his arms around him.
“I hope so,” Hym said. He really hoped so.
“Do you have any preferences?”
Uhhh… his dream omega flashed in his mind. He viciously shoved him away.
“What do you recommend?” Hym asked.
“You need someone gentle. Someone who’ll help you de-stress when you have one of your dreams. What’s important is for you to get emotional support. The physical side of it you can discuss with the omega.”
The physical side?
Fuck.
“Don’t look so stressed. This is a good thing,” Tarymn slapped his shoulder, turned to his clothing cubicle, and continued to get dressed.
Right.
This was a good thing, he told himself.
Chapter 4
Jamue
What the hell was that?
Jamue groaned, slapping his hands over his ears. A grinding sound filled the space, echoing around him. He popped one eye open, expecting to see a crazy bot about to attack him.
He grimaced at the blinding light coming through the large window. He forgot to dim the glass last night.
He'd forgotten to do a lot of things last night.
