Hym

“Thank you for being here, Deltta. I wouldn’t have managed to stop him if it wasn’t for you.” Tarymn said.

Hym groaned as the drug Sirhe gave him took effect.

He felt funny.

Hym stared down at his hands and saw paws. He was in his wolf form. But why was he aware of everything around him?

He'd lost consciousness whenever he was in wolf form - as if the change shoved him into some dark room.

But now he could feel everything.

This was strange.

He flexed his paws to see if he could control his wolf’s body. His paws flexed.

He was in control of his wolf! They were finally one.

“I didn’t know he could turn into his wolf too,” Deltta said in awe.

“Not a lot of people know. And I would like to keep it that way,” Tarymn said. “I don’t want my brother to end up in some evil facility medicated.”

“That’s my facility you’re talking about.”

“Now we know,” Makar chimed in.

Makar’s voice grated on his nerves. Hym tried to sit up and swipe at the bastard with his claws. But his body felt sluggish and heavy. He hated him in that moment.

He fucking jinxed him.

Tarymn held him down. “Don’t move, Hym.”

“I think your brother’s wolf hates me,” Makar said.

“He’s not the only one. How could you hide his mate from him?”

“We’re not having this fucking conversation again. It's over. Things are as they should be. The omega is with his chosen alpha and your brother is alive. I didn’t ruin anyone’s life. Now, let’s move him to AF before the sun comes up.”

AF? Makar was going to lock him up.

No. He had to get to his mate. He lunged forward again, fighting harder. But the drug made him slow and unsteady on his feet.

“Fuck, Hym.” Tarymn wrapped his arms around him and held him down.

“I’ll dose him again.”

“Do you carry that stuff around with you, doc?” Makar asked with a laugh. “Remind me never to mess with you.”

“Not the time, Makar,” Deltta rumbled.

“Let’s move him before he hurts someone.”

Hym’s eyes drooped as darkness dragged him down. When he opened them again, he was in a cage.

“Is the cage really necessary?” Tarymn asked, staring down at him. “Fuck, I hate this. He should have changed back by now.”

“Losing a true mate can drive any alpha crazy. Let’s just hope he’ll snap out of this.” Makar said.
