“Oh, I look forward to taking you down a notch tomorrow.”

He felt the low sound in Isaac’s chest better than he heard it. “A whole notch?” he teased, feeling daring and loose-limbed, loving their play.

Isaac chuckled. “Keep talking over my show, and it’ll be two.”

Neil snorted. “Now I’ll be babbling like the proverbial brook.”

“Oh, Chou, you live dangerously.”

“Always, Kitten. Always.” And that was the truth. And also why he was tucked in where he was right now.

“Ai! Look at that there girl! She got crazy eyes. I bet she’s mean as anything. I’d be spitting through my fingers at her.”

Lord save him. Take a Texan to New York and he’d find himself a bayou baby.

Isaac let Alain make breakfast. He’d insisted nothing fancy but ended up with thick, sweet French toast and warm blueberry syrup anyway. If he wasn’t careful, it wouldn’t be long before he didn’t fit into the jeans that Neil was buttoning him into. He loved when Neil dressed him, but when they both had to work, it wasn’t something they had time for. This week was all about indulgences and taking things slow, and he was going to take advantage of it.

He slid his fingers over Neil’s bare shoulders, enjoying the look and feel of his fit, strong boy. “We shouldn’t be gone long.” He had plans for their evening. Plans to work with Alain, push him a little about his art, start to create the Master-sub relationship they both craved. Alain was a beautiful man and so sweet, and the longer Isaac spent time with the boy the more he mattered, the more important Alain was, the deeper their connection grew. “Should we all meet up somewhere for lunch?”

“I’m in, Sir. Just text me with when and where. I’m going to hit the weights for an hour or so.” Neil lifted his face. “Are the stitches ready to come out?”

He rolled his eyes. “It’s been three days, boy. They’re nice and clean. Leave them be and I’ll take them out tomorrow.” He helped Neil by shrugging his T-shirt over his shoulders. “My black belt, please. The one with the silver stitching.”

“Yes, Sir. Dressing to impress today.”

His Neil was not…a clothes horse.

At all.

“Because I’m wearing a belt with my jeans?” He laughed. “I want to be handsome for our new boy.”

“I’ll bet he creams his jeans. You’re hot as fire.”

That was ridiculous, but it gave him a little shiver anyway, and he felt his cheeks heat up. “I’m glad you think so. No bruises today that I don’t give you, promise?”

“Promise, Master. I’m going to lift some weights and meet you for lunch. That’s my plan. Maybe I’ll even shower.”

“And pick up some clean undies for the rest of the week.” He winked at Neil.

“Clean briefs, running shoes, my porn…” Neil teased. When Isaac just stared at him, Neil chuckled, relenting, head dipping. “Yes, Sir. No porn.”

Wicked man. Isaac would remember these, give Neil what he begged for.

Isaac snorted. “I suspect you won’t miss it.” He looked into the full-length mirror. He didn’t need a mirror this big or this fancy, but he liked it. He felt bigger being dressed in front of it, it was one of those things that made his bedroom feel more like a Dom’s boudoir.

It had other uses as well. He grabbed Neil and spun him to face the mirror, keeping close to his boy’s back. “When you go out in the world today, remember who you belong to. And how proud I am of you.”

Neil’s cheeks turned a deep, dark red, and his boy held his gaze. “I never forget. I know.”

“Mmm. Good.” Neil was a good man who made some questionable choices because his sense of justice wouldn’t let him do otherwise, and Isaac loved him more than was reasonable. He kissed Neil’s warm cheek and let him go. “Excellent job with my belt. Thank you, boy.”

“You’re more than welcome, Master. More than.”

“Alain? I hope you watched carefully, because it’s your turn tomorrow.” In some things, what was good for one boy was good for both. Though he suspected Alain would need a different approach in most other things. That was what today was about.

“Yes, Sir. I can do what you need.” Alain nodded, the boy looking edible in a partially unbuttoned shirt, a leather vest, and a pair of khakis.
