“Take your time,” David said. “We’ll do the garden later, when it’s cooler. This weather is weird. It snowed a little last week and today is hot. Anyway, I’ll do some sewing while you nap.”

Lugging myself off the bathroom floor, feeling like I didn’t have enough energy to walk from there to the other side of the house where our bedroom was, I nodded as David left the bathroom, hoping I could make it to the one in our suite before needing to throw up again. Maybe I’d just carry the trashcan with me.

As I passed Maddox in the living room, he looked at me sympathetically. “Want me to go get Angus or Maddox?” he asked.

Shaking my head, I kept walking. Angus and Maddox didn’t need to be bothered just to hear I’d been barfing again and needed another nap.

In the bedroom, I kicked off my shoes and fell onto the bed, almost immediately drifting off.

David woke me up for dinner.

“Dinner?” I asked. “What about working in the garden?”

“You looked were so sick earlier, I let you sleep,” David said. “Come eat. We can work in the garden in the morning.”

I got up and washed my face. Looking in the mirror, I was shocked at how pale I was. All my freckles stood out across my nose.

“Stupid freckles,” I muttered before turning out the light and going to the kitchen where everyone else had already gathered.

Upon seeing me, both of my alphas frowned.

“You alright?” Colt asked.

Sitting beside him, I nodded.

“David said you threw up all morning,” Angus said.

I shot David a look that called him a traitor, and he ducked his head.

“Well, you did,” he muttered.

“You didn’t have to tell Angus and Colt about it.”

Angus put his fork down. “Why shouldn’t we know? It’s our fault you feel this way, isn’t it? Pass the butter, Maddox.”

“They need to know so they can make you…you know, feel better,” David said, blushing.

The aroma of the beans was too much.

Covering my mouth, I jumped up from my chair and ran for the nearest bathroom, which was in our suite.

Ten minutes later, Colt came in and sat beside me on the bed.

“I’m sorry you don’t feel well,” he said, touching my hand.

“I’m sure it’ll go away even-tually.” I flinched on the last word when my stomach cramped.

Angus came in carrying a tray with crackers, cheese, and water. Setting it on the nightstand, he said, “You need to eat that. No arguments.”

“I’ll only throw it up,” I said.

“No, you won’t. Not after I give you some of my pre-cum. Or would you rather have Colt’s?” He began unbuckling his belt while I stared at him in surprise.

Looking confused, Colt said, “Angus, don’t you think that can wait until Ben’s feeling better?”

Angus frowned. “No. He needs it now to settle his stomach.” Looking from Colt back to me, he said, “Don’t you know that the alpha’s pre-cum settles his omega’s stomach during pregnancy? I’d completely forgotten about it until Maddox just reminded me.”

Colt laughed. “What? That’s ridiculous.”
