A bar occupied one end of the room; small purple leather booths were dotted around the dancefloor, some occupied.
“Hey, buddy. Move from the door,” a deep voice said behind me, and I stepped to the side, melting into the darkness.
I knew I should go home, but I was mesmerised by the music and captivated by the gyrations of the men on the dance floor.
It was then that I saw him. He was unmistakable, at least to me. I’d memorised his profile, the slope of his nose, the set of his jaw, the hair falling around his beautiful face.
I plastered myself against the wall, but I was safe. There was no way he could see me where I stood, and I watched with lustful eyes, his body sensual as he moved against his partner.
I pressed the heel of my hand into my groin to calm the building erection.
“Can I help you with that?” A hand covered mine, and I panicked, finally coming to my senses.
What the fuck did I think I was doing here?
It was time to leave. I made my way outside and ran as fast as I could to escape my humiliation.
This was all wrong, and once again, my skin tingled. My clothes were too tight, too itchy, too much.
Come on, Harvey. Get a grip. What did you think was going to happen?I scolded myself.Did you think you’d be miraculously cured?
Julie would have a field day with this, and I contemplated calling her the next day, but first, I needed to get home.
Finally able to breathe, I hailed a taxi, happy to pay the extortionate amount to get me home. Anything to be away from the club, but more importantly, away from Killian.
Chapter 4
Killian
Someone was watching us. I could feel it, a tingling down my spine, but each time I turned around, there was no one.
Funny how you can sense it, but maybe it was my mind playing tricks. I’d drunk quite a bit tonight. My earlier encounter with Seth had bothered me more than I’d imagined it would. At least I had Ash to take my mind off things. I’d hooked up with him a couple of times, but he let anyone fuck him.
The manager, Greg, was a regular of his, and I’d seen him take money on more than one occasion from punters at the bar. He’d pocket it with a flirty wink and leave them with their tongues hanging out. Hardly surprising. He gave an excellent blowjob, but at least I didn’t have to pay for mine.
“Hey, Killian.” He rubbed his body against mine as we danced, his hard dick pressing into my thigh.
“Wanna get out of here?” I shouted over the music and gestured to the door. A door I could have sworn I’d seen the man from last night leave through just seconds ago.
His eyes grew wide, and he nodded. We both knew what came next.
I took his hand and led him from the floor over to the booth where we’d been sitting. I picked up my drink and knocked it back, almost choking when Ash undid the zip of my jeans.
“Not here. You’ll get us thrown out.” I batted his hand away, but he was insistent, and I sat down on the leather bench with a bump.
“No one can see.” His smile was wicked, and he climbed into my lap, his back to my front. “Why do you think I wear these?”
I heard a zip, but it wasn’t mine.
“Did you just…?” I moved my hands to his arse, not surprised to feel bare flesh.
Fuck, that was hot. I slipped a finger between his cheeks but couldn’t quite reach his hole.
“Let me help.” Ash stood, and I wrangled my jeans open. My dick sprang out, ready for action.
“What about prep?” I might have been desperate, but I wouldn’t hurt him.
“No need for that. I’m ready for you. Suit up, though.” He chucked a condom at me, and I opened it quickly.
