“I believe you’re not going to tear up Jiselle’s spot.”

“You’re obsessed with her,” I accused.

“Aren’t you?” He chuckled. “I ain’t break in this mothafucka by myself, now did I?”

I scoffed.

“It’s in the living room,” I admitted. “Behind her television.”

“How often do you check that shit?”

“Every morning.”

He nodded and looked around again before walking over. He sat beside me.

“So, now what?”

“I’m not understanding the question.”

“You’re obsessed with Jiselle. I’m obsessed with Jiselle. And she’s just stuck in the fucking middle.”

“Did you see her last night? Trust me. She’s not complaining.”

Stone chuckled. “Yeah. She’s having the time of her life.”

“Don’t you think she deserves that?”

Stone looked at me. “I think she deserves the fucking world.”

“And I want to give it to her.”

“Yeah? Well, so do I.” He exhaled and repeated himself. “So, now what?”

“So now I think we both know what lengths we’re willing to go to for her so we focus on making sure she’s happy and taken care of and let everything else fall into place.”

“Yeah. Easier said than done.” Stone’s gaze drifted back to where the camera had originally been. “Can I get access to that camera?”

“What?”

“I didn’t stutter.” He looked back at me. “Give me access to the cameras and I’ll give you access to my car tracker.”

“You have a tracker in her car?”

“Nigga, why does it sound like you’re judging me when you had two cameras in this bitch?”

“I’m not judging. Shit. I’m annoyed that I didn't think to do one.” I held my hand out. “Give me your phone.”

Stone handed it over and I downloaded the application for him to look at the cameras I’d set up. When I gave his phone back, I watched him switch between cameras easily.

“So you work in stopping people from cyber-attacks and shit, but do you ever help people be the attacker?” he asked.

“I can’t confirm or deny that.”

“How much, hypothetically, would you run someone for some shit like that?” He locked his phone and looked at me.

“What exactly would you be trying to find?”

“If I wanted to get into Selle’s cell phone,” he said carefully. “Just for tracking purposes, not to read her texts or no shit like that.”
