Toby sat back on his heels and wiped his mouth with the back of his hand. “Only in my head. I’ve dreamt about it a lot.”
“Yeah?”
“Yeah. I just never knew I was dreaming about you.”
He spoke quietly like he always did, but I heard the words as if he’d shouted them in my ear, and I stared at him as he got to his feet. It wasn’t the first time he’d floored me with his gentle innocence, but I felt it this time like a fucking sledgehammer.
Toby drew eye level with me. Up close, I drank in his flushed skin and wet lips, and despite just losing my brains through my dick, I wanted him.
I needed him.
Still panting, I pushed off the door and pointed at the stairs. “Get in the fucking shower.”

Toby
Cole pounced on me as soon as I was done rinsing an evening of sweat and mud from my skin. He dried me inch by inch, then lay me out on his bed next to a bottle of lube that made my chest feel tight.
“Don’t be scared,” he whispered. “I’ll never do anything that hurts you.”
I believed him, but I was still terrified. Then he put his lips and tongue on my cock, and I forgot every single thing I thought I knew. My legs widened of their own accord, and I thrust into his mouth as if I’d done it a thousand times.
Cole gripped my thighs and brought them to my chest. He slid a pillow beneath my hips, and dripped lube onto me.
He slid his fingers inside me. For a moment, the stretching burn made him a liar, but it didn’t last, and he swallowed my dick again.
I didn’t stand a chance. Cole went to town on me, and I was caught between sliding my cock deeper into his mouth and pressing down on his magic fingers. Every muscle twitch made stars explode, and I came quick, and hard, with a shuddery groan that left me a trembling mess.
Cole let his fingers slip from me, then he disappeared from the bed to clean up. I wondered if it was time to go, but he was back before I could make my boneless limbs move further than rolling off his pillow. He stretched out beside me and turned over to face me. “Harry said you went out on a horse rescue. I thought you didn’t do rescue runs anymore?”
I was glad he’d waited until I was no longer splayed out to start this particular conversation. In the moment, I hadn’t thought twice about it, but now the heat had faded, I couldn’t help the slight creep of awkwardness on my cooling skin. It didn’t seem to matter that I’d somehow made him shout and groan too. “I don’t, but one of Harry’s patients passed out at the clinic, so he couldn’t leave, and there was no one else around.”
“Wasn’t Angelo who passed out, was it?”
“Hmm? Oh. No. I don’t know who it was, but they’d have told me if it was Angelo.”
“Ah, good. I mean, not that someone else passed out, just that it wasn’t Angelo. I worked him pretty hard at lunchtime.”
“You did?”
“Yeah. He came to watch some of my classes, so I did some muscle work with him afterwards.” Cole tucked a damp lock of my hair behind my ear. “But tell me about the rescue. Was it bad?”
“It was okay. Couple of beach ponies got loose and sank in some mud. We got them out, and Joe made the owners give them up.”
“Made them?”
“He’s pretty persuasive when it comes to horses.”
Cole grinned a little. It lightened his whole face. In the warm glow of the room, he was so beautiful I wanted to kiss him a thousand times more than I had already, but it didn’t feel connected to everything we’d already done, and I didn’t know what that meant. “I didn’t think beach ponies were a thing in this country anymore.”
“You’d think it would be banned, wouldn’t you?”
“I’d never thought about it at all before I came here, but yeah. It’s ridiculous.” Cole yawned. “And I’m glad it wasn’t too traumatic for you. I was worried when Harry said you’d gone out.”
“Worried? Why?”
“Because I saw your face when you told me why you don’t go out on rescues.”
