“Really? Because I love that I know that,” I brag.

I can’t wait until his bride gets to know him and finds out his secret.

We are all chatting and eating. Everyone is catching us up on everything we had missed during the week. Once this is all over, I hope we can take a honeymoon up top, but it’s too dangerous right now.

Having a fallen angel who you had thought was your friend, and who you thought had died, trying to destroy your entire family is pretty fucking crazy. I just hope that when the time comes, we will be able to fight him.

We all turn our heads when we see a portal open, and Lorenzo walks right through with a look of annoyance on his face. He’s carrying someone over his shoulder.

Fuck no, he didn’t.

“Let me down, you big oaf!” the woman screams while kicking her legs.

“Please tell me you didn’t just kidnap your bride,” I ask, pleading with my brother.

He simply raises an eyebrow at me like I should know the answer already.

She stills when she hears my voice. Lorenzo puts her down slowly, but she doesn’t turn around.

“Where am I? How did we get here?” she asks, sounding terrified.

“You are in my home in Hell, and I created a portal to get us here,” Lorenzo says simply.

Dude is not smooth at all. I shake my head.

“It’s kind of sad to think that I preferred you stalking me in comparison to throwing me over your shoulder and kidnapping me,” I whisper loudly to Silas who chuckles at my words.

“I don’t know how I raised sons who don’t know how to talk to women,” Lucifer says, shaking his head sadly.

At Lucifer’s voice, Lucille turns around and looks at him with wide eyes.

“You,” she whispers. She then looks at each person in the room and, when she gets to me, I can’t help but wince and give her an apologetic look.

“Both of you. What’s going on? Lui?” she asks, turning back to Lucifer.

“Please sit down, I will explain,” Lucifer says, gesturing to the seat with her name on it.

She sits down and ignores everyone else, keeping her eyes on Lucifer and waiting for him to explain.

“I’m Lucifer,” he says.

“Lucifer… as in?” she whispers.

Lucifer nods his head.

“Yes, the very one. I have seven sons who are the seven deadly sins. My bride Lillith and I had chosen seven souls that would match our sons, and you are one of them. You are destined to be with Wrath. I kept an eye on you because you are vulnerable right now. Someone is finding my daughters and attacking them.”

“You are saying that I’m the bride to Wrath, a deadly sin?” she whispers.

Lucifer nods his head slowly.

“Yes.”

At his response, her eyes roll back and she faints.

I let out a sigh.

“Why did you kidnap her?”
