She fisted her hands on her waist, exhaled a frustrated sigh. “We woulda been so hot together.”

A growl shot out of him.

I did the right thing.

“Thanks for the fun make-out sesh. You kiss good.Realgood.”

“Right back atcha, Britain.”

As they headed down the hall, she said, “You can call me Brit, Joaquin.”

“Do you always dare yourself to do somethin’ at parties?”

“I wanted to kiss you, so yeah, I turned it into a game. Life’s short, shit happens, people are mostly crazy.” On a shrug, she said, “If you change your mind, and find yourself in Denver, lemme know.”

“You wanna grab a drink while you’re in town?”

“I’m outta here tomorrow,” she said, stepping down the sweeping staircase.

Damn.

Despite the fact that he owned a kink club—and he saw hookups happen all the time—he wasn’t going to bed her simply because she’d thrown him a dare.

Britain

Britain Skye had goneoff the rails. One look at Joaquin Dillinger, and everything had gone into slow-mo. She loved a handsome man with long hair, but she’d gone flat-out berserk over this one.

Physically, he was her type. Six feet was her upper limit and he’d pushed past that. Dressed in black jeans and a fitted shirt, he was muscular, yet lean, and he had the most breathtaking ice-blue eyes she’d ever seen. But it was his wild, blond hair that she desperately wanted to sink her fingers into, then drag her nails down his bearded face.

She’d set up that dare so she could do just that, then feel his hard body against hers while she kissed the hell out of him.

He’s super-hot.

As they walked side-by-side down the stairs, she envisioned his large hands caressing her breasts, her inner thighs, then taking one of her hardened nipples into his mouth and sucking.

A moan shot out from the back of her throat.

“You okay?” he asked in the two-story foyer.

She unearthed her phone from her crossbody bag, unlocked it, then handed it to him. “Send yourself a text, so I have your number.”

While he got busy on her phone, she studied his face. An Adonis who’d been blessed with a straight nose, a mouth made for kissing, a chiseled jawline, and hair to die for.

He’s too much.

His phone binged with his incoming message. When she took back her device, her fingers grazed against his. A frisson of excitement tore through her.

“Thanks for the tour.” She winked before taking off toward the sound of chatter and laughter.

Brit rounded the corner, surprised to find a bunch of people in the family room. When she’d first gotten there, most everyone had been golfing in the basement. Heads turned in her directionas Rebel pulled up alongside her, his arm brushing against hers, the heat from his body sending another jolt through her.

“Hi,” she said to the group.

“This is my sister Britain,” Addison announced as she put her arm around her.

But Brit could barely focus, her gaze tracking Rebel, who’d gone to speak with Prescott.

As Rebel raked his hands through his just-mussed hair, his killer blue eyes found hers. Another delicious hit of desire streaked through her. She bit back a smile. Thanks to her, his wavy hair looked like he’d just rolled out of bed.
