As an only child, there were times growing up when I wished I had siblings. Someone to share the blame when I used my scented markers on my bedroom wall. Someone to commiserate with when my parents went through their healthy eating phase and I dreamed of smuggling home forbidden salty snack foods. Someone to play dress up and make-believe with who would indulge my fantasy that fairies lived in our back yard.
