“Sorry, but it’s true. He falls in love in like two seconds, and then is determined to love you for the rest of your life whether you want him to or not.”

Sadly, it was true. He was such a nice guy, but he wore his heart on his sleeve and didn’t know how to date someone without falling in love.

“Okay, what about Levi?”

“Who?” I spun in my chair, looking around for the man she was talking about. There was only one Levi, and I was pretty sure he hadn’t lived in town in over ten years.

Josie pointed to the corner of the restaurant where the three Cross brothers sat. I gaped at the man, stunned at how handsome he was. Granted, all the Cross brothers were extremely good-looking, but I hadn’t expected this chiseled, Greek God to walk into the diner and give us all a free porno.

If by porno, that meant him walking in with his dastardly good looks and charming personality.

“When did he get into town?” I hissed.

“Last night. Apparently, he showed up on Remi’s doorstep, needing a place to crash.”

“And…he’s just home? I mean, why did he come back? Where has he been all this time? And why haven’t we heard anything about it?”

“Well, no one talks about Levi. He’s the dark horse of the family. Apparently, a very dark horse,” Cheyenne winked.

I wasn’t exactly sure what she meant, but that didn’t matter right now because the diner door swung open and Sam walked through, followed by Jeff.

And unfortunately, it didn’t go unnoticed by anyone else in the diner.

“Crap! I completely forgot about what I was going to tell you,” Josie hissed.

Whipping out her phone, she shoved the screen in my face. There stood Sam in his boxers and shorts, while Jeff laid in the bed, looking very cozy.

“What am I looking at?”

“This is what Declan walked in on this morning,” she grinned.

I studied the photo again, but I didn’t get it. “So?”

“So?” she scoffed. “They were in bed together!”

I looked at the picture again, but I didn’t see it. One man was in bed, but the other was clearly on the opposite side. “Is that the mobile house?”

“Yep,” she said smugly.

“Wait, what does this have to do with Archer?”

“Nothing,” Josie said in frustration. “Don’t you see what this implies?”

I nodded. “Yes, I see, but I can tell you right now that this is some horrible setup. Remember, I dated Jeff, and he is definitely not gay. And based on how Sam pressed me against the wall last night and shoved his tongue down my throat, he’s not either.”

“What?” they both gasped.

I nodded, continuing to study my menu as they both sat on tenterhooks, waiting for me to spill the beans. Josie’s hand landed on my menu, slamming it to the table.

“You cannot possibly say something like that and then leave us wanting more.”

“And yet, I did,” I smirked.

“Okay, pushed up against a wall, tongue down your throat,” Cheyenne motioned for me to continue. “What happened after that?”

I cocked my head. “Do you think the western omelet has mushrooms? It doesn’t say, and I really can’t stand them.”

“So tell them no mushrooms!” Cheyenne snapped. “Details. Now!”
