I grabbed the glass filled with her favorite sweet red wine and passed it to her. “Hell yeah. We need to use the one at home more often.”

She took a sip of her wine and nodded. “We do,” She agreed. She shifted to face me, laying her feet across my lap. “Our cooking video is going viral.”

“I know, I had to turn my social media notifications off again.”

“I never turned mine back on. Taryn sent a screenshot ofGITCreposting it. They’re so messy. I didn’t even bother to read the comments.”

“You should never read comments anyway. There’s always going to be one hater in the mix.” I took one of her feet into my hands, gently massaging it. Her toes were painted my favorite color. I couldn’t help but kiss them.

“My grandma called earlier. Said Sage was tearing her house up when Messiah brought them over to visit. I don’t know what I’m going to do with her.”

“My princess is innocent. She was just excited to see her nana.” She rolled her eyes. “Don’t do that.” I chuckled. “You want another one?”

“Eventually, but,” She held up her left hand, wiggling her ring finger. “Not before we’re married. Plus, I can’t do two under two. Sage is already a handful.”

“So about two and a half years?”

“To get married? Sure.”

“Nah, we’re going to be married before the end of next year. I’m tryna put a set of twins in you.”

“Oh hell no.”

I pulled her into my lap, snaking my arms around her waist. “You don’t want twins?”

She shook her head, snuggling against my chest.

“Two babies at once plus a toddler. Helllll no. Journey and Serenity will be off in college, and you’ll be traveling for games. That’ll be way too much on my plate.”

“You’re right.” I nodded. “You want more wine?” I asked, picking up her empty glass.

“Yes, please.” I refilled her glass before passing it to her. “Thanks again for all this. Willow Creek is so beautiful. OH! Let’s go to the casino. Right now!” She stood from my lap, chugging the wine.

Because I could never tell her ass no, I agreed. “Let’s go.”

I grabbed Blessing’s hand, intertwining our fingers as we walked into the casino. My security guards, Tre and Omar, were a few feet behind us. I usually don’t take them everywhere with me, but since we were in a different city, they were necessary.

“I’m feeling really lucky tonighttttt!” Blessing grinned, glancing around the casino. Just like the lounge yesterday,Midnight Fortunewas packed.

“What you wanna play first?” I asked, throwing an arm over her shoulder.

“Hm..” She tapped her chin, then pointed towards the slot machines. “I want to playHuff n’ Puff. I always hit big when I play.” My eyes were glued to her behind as she led the way. Her fat ass was sitting right in the jeans she had on. I didn’t even want her leaving the crib in them. Blessing’s walk was something dangerous. The way her hips swayed kept me mesmerized. I’d pull a nigga’s eyeballs out for even looking at her for too long.

I took a seat on a stool and pulled her onto my lap. “How much are you betting?” I pulled a knot of cash out of my pocket, passing it to her. She peeled two hundred-dollar bills out and passed the knot back to me.

“I need a kiss for good luck, baby.” She turned around, puckering her lips. I leaned up, pecking her glossy lips a few times.

I watched her play until my phone buzzed in my pocket. My screen was filled with missed calls and texts from Symone.

Symone: You see me calling you.

Symone: You really made that bitch your girlfriend?

Symone: You’re so weird. I hate you.

I shook my head and deleted the thread. I didn’t understand what the fuck her problem was. I haven’t touched her ass in months. I need to nip this shit in the bud asap. Her ass is buggin’.

“Yesssss!” Blessing squealed. She bounced in my lap, clapping her hands. “I hit the jackpot!”
