“He’s not here boss.”

The leader now stared at me with curiosity instead of the boredom he showed when we first showed up. “Doesn’t matter. He obviously couldn’t do one simple job.”

“Oh, he did his job. He told my old lady some stupid shit about some dumb fucks trying to take over my town, and my club. I just assumed he’d lost his mind.”

“I should’ve never sent a dumbass kid to do a man’s job. He got some things right. This is no longer your town. You can keep your pussy-ass club, as long as you don’t fuck with my deals. You can keep your auto-body shops, hell I’ll even let you keep your weed shop. And if you’re good little wannabe bikers and pay us what we ask, we’ll keep you safe.”

The bikers laughed, some of them slapping the leader on the shoulder before standing in front of him.

“Isn’t it cute when toddlers wear grown up clothes?” I leaned back still straddling my bike. The guys behind me chuckled. “I don’t know who you think you are, but you’re not as big as you want to be. I suggest you get your little cronies and go back to where you came from.”

“And I suggest you and your little cronies, shut the fuck up and recognize the new leaders.”

I cracked my neck from side to side. I knew this wasn’t going to end with a quick ‘How do you do? or an, ‘I’m sorry, didn’t mean to step on your territory we’ll just be on our way.’ I really didn’t want to fight with my leg still healing, but what the fuck.

“I’m going to tell you one more time. Get the fuck out of here. Take your shitty bitch ass recruits and leave.”

“Fuck you.” The leader spat on the ground.

“Have it your way.” I slid off the side of my bike, my guys doing the same.

Satan stroked his beard as he surveyed the men pouring out of the bar. “We’ll be home in thirty.”

The men behind me cheered. We waited. Waited until the first one made a move, and then it was on. The leader ran toward me, his ringed fist heading for me. I let him hit me in the stomach. His satisfied grin didn’t last long.

I threw my fist into his stomach, doubling him over, as he went down my knee found his nose, and the satisfied crunch made the pain in my leg bearable.

Men all around me were beating each other. I was able to make sure my guys were holding their own, because the leader of this so-called gang was getting his ass kicked. By me.

I grabbed the back of his neck, holding him down until his knees buckled, and he fell to the asphalt. He cried out, and I kicked him in the side to keep him down.

Two guys ran at me from both sides. I ducked, putting my fists out, so they ran stomach first into them. They gasped for the air I just knocked out of their lungs. I hit one in the face knocking him out cold. The other one recovered faster, and slugged me in the side. His leg kicking right in my stitches, pain and anger exploded inside my head. I kicked out, feeling his ribs crack under my boot. Three more fists to the head, and the fucker finally went down.

Sirens sounded. My men got in their last hits, most of the other side groaning on the ground. The rest knocked out cold.

“Police.” The coherent men on the ground yelled.

“Don’t let them leave,” I ordered, making sure the leader hadn’t moved.

“Police, freeze,” an officer yelled. My guys stood quickly, moving away from the injured. I assessed them, most of them were smiling, blood running down their face where they took a fist or two. I was relieved when I noticed none of them looked really injured.

“Officer, these men pulled up on our private property and assaulted us,” the leader wheezed, attempting to stand up straight.

“Now you’re asking for our help, Raptor? After bringing drugs into this town, when Hell’s Army worked so hard to clean it all up for us. That doesn’t make any sense.” Officer John asked amused.

I grinned down at Raptor, who was now glaring at me. I’d known his name before I drove onto the property, but I couldn’t let him in on that secret. Or the other things I’d discussed during my little stay at the station this morning.

“Demon, who threw the first punch?” Officer Robert asked me, already calling for back-up.

“He did, officer. I came over here to tell them to never threaten my lady again. I also suggested they leave this town and never come back.”

“I see,” Officer Robert said.

“We’re not leaving this town. This is our territory now,” Raptor said, his words coming out wheezy.

“We’ll discuss that when we get you down to the station. Right now, I suggest you and the rest of your shit bags keep quiet,” Officer John ordered.

“It wasn’t Demon’s fault,” Loni screamed, coming out of the bar.
