The kind of person who nerdy little Charlie from the photo album, with his tucked-in t-shirts and fussily ironed jeans and the (to him) daring rainbow socks he wore every day for two years in a row (he’d bought multiple pairs) as a big hint to his parents before coming out couldn’t even imagine existing, let alone dream of one day having.
“Charlie,” Kevin whispered against my mouth. “Why are you sad again?”
I looked up into his gentle brown eyes. “I’m not sad,” I said, surprised.
He rubbed between my brows with his thumb then skimmed his hand down to rest his palm against the side of my neck. “Okay.”
I wasn’t sad. I was thoughtful.
Grateful.
I tightened my arms around him. God, he was solid. I squeezed him as hard as I could, and he didn’t even grunt. “I love you, you know?”
He tilted his head to one side. “I know.”
After a long moment, I lifted my brows.
He stared at me.
I squirmed impatiently beneath him, then pinched his bum. “And?”
He drew his hips back and rolled them forwards easily. Savouringly.
“And?” I said, louder this time. I changed the pinch to a light swat.
“Oh,” he said softly. “Like that, is it?”
“Tell me you love me.” I dug my fingers into his cheeks.
“Mhm. I love you.” He covered my mouth with his and rolled his tongue in as easily and lazily as he was rolling his hips. “You know I do.”
The hand on my neck drifted down my side. He stroked it up and down, up and down.
I pushed into it and met his tongue with mine.
Kevin continued the slow fucking motion of his hips, continued the slow, dragging strokes up and down my side, continued to kiss me with lazy, teasing flickers of his tongue.
“Kevin,” I murmured. “What?—”
“Shh.”
I threaded my fingers through his hair and tried to pull him back. “What?—”
He’d been moving so slowly and easily that his sudden movement made me jolt in surprise. He caught my hand, thumped it onto the pillow above my head, and held it there. He sank back into kissing me.
I heaved beneath him, my skin prickling. I submitted to the deep, slow kissing for another minute or two before I grew restless again.
Kevin didn’t normally hold back. And…well, he wasn’t holding back right now, exactly, as he moved his body over mine and kissed me witless, but…this wasn’t how it normally went.
I lifted my chin and broke away, gasping for air. “What are you do?—”
He pulled my other hand over my head to join the first. He only needed one hand to keep them there, embarrassingly enough. It wasn’t even difficult for him, even when I had a little struggle. Also, this was the third time he’d pinned me today.
He widened his knees either side of mine and rocked down into me, the movement firmer now, more of a ripple as he worked his cock against mine. He stared at my face, his eyes half-closed. After a moment, he went to kiss me.
I twisted my head to one side. His lips landed on my neck instead, and he followed them up with a scrape of teeth and a hard suck. “Kevin, what are you doing?” My voice quavered. I cleared my throat and said again, gruff and short, “What are you doing?” That was better.
He turned my face back to his. “Worshipping you.”
