“I want to take you home with me. Sleep with you without the aid of pharmaceuticals.”

She flinches. “Never gonna let me live that down, huh?”

“No way. Come home with me, Savage.”

She wants to. I can see it in her eyes. “I can’t.”

“Can’t or won’t?”

“Either.” She shrugs. “Both. But I had fun tonight.”

Why does she make it sound like this is the only night we’ll have?

Because fuck that.

“Good. I’ll pick you up for breakfast tomorrow.”

She laughs and shakes her head, lifts herself off me, and walks into the en suite bathroom to clean herself up.

I’m not kidding. I have half a mind to throw her over my shoulder, wrap a towel around her ass—because I’m suddenly feeling possessive and don’t want every fucker in this club to see what’s mine—and take her home.

But I don’t just want tonight with her. I’m in this for the long haul, so I’ll play it however she needs me to. Even though I want to just move her into my penthouse tonight.

Even if it’s killing me.

Christ, I’m not good with feelings.

Violet comes out of the bathroom, her dress back in place and her smile uncertain.

And there’s no way my girl will ever be uncertain with me.

So, I frame her face and kiss her softly, brushing my lips back and forth over hers.

“I should get some sleep,” she whispers.

“I’ll put you in a car.”

She frowns, but I shake my head. “You’re independent as fuck, and I respect the hell out of it, but let me get you home safely, Savage.”

She swallows hard and gives me a little nod. I quickly dress and then lead her out of the room, into the playroom, where the night is still young, and through the lounge to the elevator.

Once inside, I drape my arm over her shoulders and call Diego.

“Boss.”

“I need a car out front now to take Violet home.”

“On it.”

I hang up and glance down to find her watching me.

“Just like that?” she asks.

“Yeah, sweetheart. I’m the boss. They do what I say.”

She blows out a breath and then nods. “Okay.”

The Range Rover is waiting out front when we walk out, and Diego himself is standing by the back door. When he sees us, he opens the door for her and nods once as she passes.
