She glances at me and admonishes me, right here at the altar.
“You’re not helping me stop being so damn emotional.”
Turning back to my brother she stares into his eyes, both of their gazes filled with emotion as she places the third ring on his finger.
“The day we met, if you had told me we’d be here today, I’d have said you were insane. Yet, here we are. Thank you for showing me the man you are. You love as fiercely as you hate and to me, that’s a beautiful thing. You don’t simply have my heart and soul—youaremy heart and soul. Wear this ring as a symbol of my undying love for you.”
After she pushes the ring all the way onto Killian’s finger, she takes my hand with her left and both of theirs with her right as she sighs sounding elated.
“We’re married, all of us. My husbands. I love you.”
I kiss her again. Knox is next and then Killian.
“He thinks we are crazy.” Heather giggles, nodding to the minister and I shrug.
“Who fucking cares? Are you happy?”
She nods, more tears in her eyes.
“So happy.”
That’s the only thing that matters to me and to my brothers. Our girl is happy. This woman has been abused for the majority of her life. Never again.
Screwdriver by Princestarts playing over the loudspeakers. Heather pulls her dress up to her knees.
“Come on, husbands, dance with your wife.”
Chapter Sixty-Five
KILLIAN
For the past several hours, we’ve taken turns dancing with our wife. None of us can keep our eyes off her. Every time I’m looking at her, I notice they are too. The way she moves around now, chatting with her new friends, her happiness is fucking infectious. I can feel it across the reception area.
Heather is talking to Athena and Bella, and I motion for her to come over to me. She walks slowly, shaking her sweet little ass and I grab her the moment she’s within reaching distance. Fuck. She’s gorgeous, throwing her head back in laughter as I take her in my arms.
“Did you need something, Husband?”
Pressing my face into her neck, I bite her hard and growl against her flesh.
“My wife.”
I run my tongue over the spot I bit as she moans.
“I’m ready to get you out of here, baby. And out of this dress.”
She shakes her head with a giggle while wrapping her arms around my neck.
“It’s early. We shouldn’t be rude.”
I tug her bottom lip between my teeth.
“I will very politely tell Bones that I want to fuck my gorgeous wife. I haven’t been inside you for two days. I’m dying, baby. Please save my life.”
Again she tosses her head back with laughter.
“At least you’re not being dramatic.”
This is my favorite version of her. Not just happy, but free. There’s been a noticeable difference in her since she killed Jedediah. It’s like the weight of the world has been lifted from her shoulders.
