His gaze locked onto her the entire time.
Dark.
Heated.
Amara’s breath grew uneven under the intensity of it.
“Elias…” she whispered softly.
He climbed onto the bed and sat in front of her before carefully wrapping the silk scarf over her eyes.
Darkness covered her vision instantly.
A sharp breath escaped her lips.
“W-What are you doing?”
Instead of answering, Elias placed one hand against her shoulder and gently pushed her backward.
Amara fell onto the mattress with a startled gasp.
The bed dipped again as his body moved over hers.
Then she felt his fingers wrap around both her wrists, pinning them gently above her head against the pillow.
A shiver ran through her body.
Elias lowered his head near her ear, his warm breath brushing against her skin.
“It drives me insane,” he muttered hoarsely, “when you even look at another man.”
His grip around her wrists tightened slightly.
“I will never let anyone else get closer to you than me.”
Amara’s breath hitched.
The next second, she gasped sharply when his teeth grazed the sensitive skin of her neck.
His lips followed after, kissing slowly along her throat and collarbone, leaving lingering traces of affection across her skin while he held her tightly against him like he never wanted to let her go again.

Blinded by pain, she slips down a staircase and wakes up in a hospital… only to overhear Cassian Han tearing the place apart in rage.
And then, he takes her.
From the hospital straight into his home.
Not as a guest.

His prisoner.
