“I. . .th. . .”

“Where, Aditi?” he growled.

“My pussy!” she cried, her desperation greater than her shame.

Any other time, he’d have made her beg more as payback for her sass, but he’d gotten so hard already, he was about to burst in his jeans without ever having touched himself. If he didn’t end this soon, his fingers would be replaced with a much larger part of his anatomy.

His hot mouth closed over her clit and he suckled hard, his rough tongue repeatedly flicking against it.

“Yes, please don’t stop,” Aditi urged, her body tensing when his fingers picked up speed, thrusting in perfect counteraction to the torment his mouth was wreaking upon her. Her hand found its way into his hair, clutching him, crying out as he licked, flicked, and sucked her into an orgasm that had her arching her back. Blistering pleasure washed over her like a fiery shroud, enveloping her in its cocoon. Momentarily, she felt weightless, propelled into a space where the rush from her freefall held her, cradling her until she could gently land on her feet once more.

Rian couldn’t stop kissing her still. His palm curved under one thigh to hold her open, letting her release coat his chin. The feel of his fingers leaving her, replaced by his tongue set off yet another tremor within her. No longer able to remain lying down, shepropped herself up on her elbows, unprepared for the sight that greeted her.

Some twenty odd feet across from her, reflected on the wall of windows beyond which were millions of city lights glittering in the night, she saw what she looked like. Chest heaving, her breasts straining against the sweetheart neckline of her dress, messy hair, swollen lips and her hand gripping the head of a broad-shouldered man who had his face buried between her naked thighs.

It was an image she would never forget.

Her shocked breath had him looking up.

The pressure on his skull released instantly. She let go of his thick hair, the strands slipping between her fingers in a sensually soft movement. She felt him press his mouth against her skin, like he couldn’t bear to stop. His stubble scratched her when he moved, giving her fleshy thigh a soft squeeze before lowering her leg off his shoulder.

The scrape of the stool legs broke through the fog she was in. She gasped when he wrapped an arm around her waist to help her sit up fully. They held each other’s gaze, wonder and fear of the unknown clashing between them.

His eyes dropped to her lips, red and swollen, looking like she had bit down hard on them to keep from making a sound. She’d failed because even now, her delirious cries of ecstasy rang in his ears.

Despite the fact that his lips had just been between her legs, kissing her on the mouth immediately after felt like it would be far too intimate a gesture. Like it would obliterate every boundary between them.

Aditi's gut clenched when Rian licked his lips, her attention drawn to them. She'd never gotten off on a man's tongue before, but she finally saw the appeal. His mouth had driven her to the brink of satisfaction within minutes and pushed her over the summit more than once in quick succession. With an almost reverent touch, she wiped the remnants of her desire off the edge of his lower lip.

For the first time since he’d met her, Aditi had no smart aleck comment, and he didn’t know if that was a good thing. He needed something to distract him from her flushed face, her kissable mouth, and the soft body that had shuddered under him.

The flavour of her release, like saltwater taffy, was still on his tongue, and he was hard pressed to think of anything he wanted more than to taste her again.

With a control he didn’t know he possessed, he adjusted the open edges of her dress over her limbs, covering her. He stepped aside, allowing her to shuffle off the counter. Silently, he followed her down the hall, all the way to her bedroom.

He inspected her side profile for any indications of distress, thankful that apart from the heightened colour of her skin, she did not look disturbed. Gone was the anger she’d displayed at knowing he’d blown her date on purpose, or the dismay in her eyes when he’d refused to understand her reasons for pursuing an arranged marriage. In its place was a woman who glowed with the flush of sexual satisfaction, and perhaps, the anticipation of more.

Aditi reached for the knob and pushed her door ajar. She stepped in, walking ahead, her heart hammering at the thought of continuing what had begun in the kitchen. She turned around, finding that he’d stopped just outside the threshold.

“Rian?” she called softly, unable to say anything else to break the tension between them.

“Go to sleep,” he ordered, his voice rough.

Aditi nodded, turning away to hide her disappointment.

“Doc?”

She glanced back expectantly. Their eyes met, and the proof of lingering desire almost brought him to his knees.

“Lock your door tonight.”
