I couldn’t believe how intense everything had been and how easily Eden had been able to control my pleasure. Not once in my life had I thought this was possible, especially considering that Ireallyhated it when someone touched me.
Why was everything so easy with Eden?
And why was he calling mebaby? He must’ve been totally out of his mind.
Eden’s fingers traced up and down my spine, his warm breath fanning over my skin as he whispered, “We should go upstairs. Ineedto get inside you.”
I straightened my back, trying to focus my eyes on him. “You want to…”
Eden laughed. “Fuck you? Hell yes, I want to.”
“Really?”
“Don’t you?”
I nodded without hesitation, which was so unlike me. Eden must’ve cast a spell upon me. “I’m a virgin, though… so it won’t be any good.”
He leaned in, pressing a kiss to my forehead. “Don’t worry about that, Ally-Bear.”
“But I do worry about that,” I admitted, sliding my hands over his shoulders, simply because I couldn’t stop touching him. “You won’t like it, and then I’m the only bad experience you’ll ever have.”
“So not true. You’ll be the best.”
I cocked my head at him, almost rolling my eyes, but I managed to refrain from it at the very last second. “You’re just saying that to convince me to say yes.”
His eyes widened and somehow he looked far more petrified than I would’ve expected. Well, I didn’t think he was going to look petrified in the first place, so that wasn’t hard to top.
“Convince you to say yes?” Eden’s eyebrows fell. “I would never do that. No means fucking no. Wait—did I do that?”
“What? No.” My arms closed around his neck. “I wanted this, Eden. And for the record, Ireallyenjoyed it.”
He held me tightly against his body, sighing deeply. “You’re going to be the fucking death of me, Alana DeVille.”
“Why?” I pulled back just to look at him.
Eden reached for my hand, pressing my palm flat over his heart. A flutter spread through my stomach at the contact. “Because you make my heart beat at a million miles per hour or skip them altogether.”
“That sounds unhealthy.”
He nodded. “Yeah.”
“Going upstairs will make it worse.”
“Yeah.”
“I kind of want to see it.”
He smirked. “You just want to see me naked.”
“I do.”
Eden was about to lean in for another kiss when, instead, he turned slightly, looking over his shoulder at the sound of the sliding door to the patio opening.
His mom came outside, sniffling her nose as she wiped away some tears.
I looked at Eden, whose entire face was immediately covered with concern.
All evening long, I’d gotten to know a different side of him: the family side. I knew Eden was a very open person, someone who didn’t need much to be happy or bring light into a dark room.
