“Saturday?” I spit out, not wanting him to think I was disinterested. “I have an early wedding and should be finished around five or so. I could meet you after?”
Light twinkled in his gorgeous eyes as he nodded. “How about you come to my house whenever you get done with all that and I cook for you? We’ll have a nice relaxing evening. Restaurants can be so stuffy.”
“It’s a date.” I loved a man who could cook. Total bonus points for the hottie.
Trace looked down at his watch. “Shit. I have to be getting to the office. I already blew off one meeting for this. The guys are going to have my freaking head if I miss another one.”
I handed him my card. “My cellphone number is on there. We’ll hammer out the details later.”
He shoved up, leaning over the table. With his face an inch away from mine, he whispered, “Have a good day, gorgeous. I’ll talk to you soon.”
He pecked my cheek, sending butterflies crashing around in my stomach.
“I’m glad you came this morning.”
“So am I.”
