Spencer opens and closes his mouth again at Grinder’s declaration, as though he’s a little lost for words.

Well, that’s okay, because I’m not.

“Gonna butt in here—that’s butt withtwoTs—becauseIhaven’t been avoiding the compound.” I give Spencer the same sassy glare he gave Grinder and he smirks in response. “Me and Grinder have had this chat to some extent. I mean, I didn’t think we were talking old lady status because that feels fuckin’ huge, but also, my vagina has never been wetter than it has in the last few weeks.”

“Oh Parker, girl, no, thank you.” Spencer’s cringe makes us all laugh.

“Appreciate you pulling me away from that train of thought.” I grin. “But it’s also a little relevant because it’s no secret that vajayjay isn’t your thing. And that’s cool. This isn’t some threesome thing where I wanna fuck you both or watch you fuck or anything at all involving all of us.” My attention is quickly drawn to a growling Grinder and I smirk. “What’s up, growly?”

“I don’t like the mention of another cock anywhere near my pussy. Even Spencer’s magnificent one.” Grinder huffs, pulling himself back up to a sitting position, but his smirk isn’t far behind because he knows how ridiculous that is.

“Yourpussy?” I slap his arm and he growls again, but this time it’s filled with lust. Man loves a slap.

“You know it is, Stabby.” He winks and licks my cheek. It’s wet and minty, only making me think about how that would feel on my clit. “What I’m trying to tell you, Doc, is that you’re mine, Parker is mine, and I belong to both of you.”

“That’s what you’re telling me, so you’re not asking?” Spencer raises both of his brows expectantly. “You’d be happy with Parker, why do you need me too? Have you ever been told no?”

“That’s what I said!” I flop backward and lie on the bed, giving me a much better view of the two of them from behind as they face each other.

“When you’re both here, everything just clicks into place. I don’t want to choose. Can’t do it. Refuse to do it. The only option is to make this work. I just need you to not say no.” Their eye contact is sexy, but as hot as Spencer is, he doesn’t float my boat like Grinder does.

“I’m in, by the way. In case you were wondering.” I raise my hand, waving it around, and Spencer looks over his shoulder at me.

“I had my money on you running a mile away.” He grins, sarcasm dripping from his tone.

“If you ever see me running, then something is seriously wrong because ew. No.” I stick my tongue out in faux-disgust.

“Is this not all a bit soon?” Spencer rolls his eyes back toward Grinder.

“Doc, I’ve been chasing your ass for the last two years. Too soon doesn’t exist.” Grinder grips the back of Spencer’s neck and presses their foreheads together.

“Should I just go? Or more like…can I go?” Shoving my hand beneath Grinder’s ass and squeezing, I stand. “Spencey baby, welcome to the trio.” I salute him and he chuckles. “Grinder, don’t break him. I’ll see you after work tomorrow.” Giving Grinder a four-finger-and-a-thumb necklace, I twist his head to face me and kiss those irresistibly plump lips, pulling away with a sharp bite.

Spencer doesn’t look phased by it…good. I’d hate for him to have the green-eyed monster permanently lurking. I’m not stupid, I know there will be times that it rears its ugly head, butas long as those times are few and far between, we can deal with that shit.

“Who is that? He’s hot.” My new boss, Teagan, leans over my shoulder to check out my sketch.

“My boyfriend’s boyfriend and his cat.”

“I have a thousand more questions about that, but I need you to go to the store for sugar, please.” She grins and straightens up, glancing around before lowering her voice. “And I know it isn’t work related but I really need a chocolate fix, if you don’t mind.” Rubbing her pregnant belly, she looks sheepish.

“Teags, I’m here for whatever.” Winking, I stand from my chair at the reception desk and head toward the staff room for my jacket and purse.

To be honest, I’m thankful for the reprieve because listening to one more woman complain about her deadbeat husband—that they should all definitely leave immediately—is going to send me officially insane. I’ve had to hold myself back from offering my services more times than I can count.

“See ya soon.” I wave to the salon in general on my way out because most of the stylists are busy with clients. I really thought a beauty salon was going to be more exciting, but I’m pretty bored most of the time. For now, it’s a pay cheque.

Making my way across the parking lot, I hum to myself, deciding then and there that I need to make some bigger plans. I’ve done all the things I set out to do, so it’s time for some new goals. I’m also excited to see how this thing with me, Grinder, and Spencer is going to go. I know Spencer and I aren’t in arelationship like boyfriend-girlfriend, but I think I should spend more time getting to know him properly. He’s calming.

From what Mac’s told me about her best friend, he’s a bit of a dark horse but always the best kind of person to lean on. He comes across as good people.

Grinder, on the other hand, is definitely not good people, and I’m utterly obsessed with everything about him. Including his tooth collection. I’ve only seen a few, so far, but he promised to show me the rest when Boner’s mom has gone home. Apparently she’s spending a few months with her son, Boner, who Grinder shares a house with. Something about being lonely while her husband is working abroad.

Each time I see Grinder, my stomach flip-flops over itself. When I’m not with him, I actually miss him. Like, actual, heartfelt longing, almost to the point that I can’t concentrate on anything else.

It’s weird because I didn’t know these kinds of emotions existed, but it appears they do.

Screeching tires pull me from my thoughts and I look up just in time to see a fucking black van skidding to a stop beside me, the side door sliding open, and unimaginative masked men reach out to grab me.
