“Maybe you could come here? We could spend the whole weekend here and…?”

I silenced her with my mouth again. “And how would we explain that?”

A cunning look seeped into her eyes. “Come at night, we hide your bike in the garage.”

I couldn’t look away from her. The chewing of her lip had moved away from nervous and into thoughtful.

“And how are you going to explain why you are suddenly locked away from the world?” Smoothing my hand down her face I smiled.

“I could always tell my brother that I am shacking up with a boyfriend for the weekend.” Her laughter filled the sunny kitchen. Her eyes danced away.

She was enjoying this I realised with a start. And she was good at it. How many times had she done this in the past? Sneaked boyfriends in under the nose of her protective overbearing family? I knew she had been a virgin when I had taken her to bed. But that didn’t mean she hadn’t done other things.

Like, get fingered in packed night clubs.

I shoved the thought away. “No fucking boyfriends Chelsea. Not even pretend ones.”

Smiling sweetly she pulled herself out of my arms. “Of course. I’m actually starting to feel a bit sick. Don’t you think I look a bit sick?” Dramatically she fanned her self. At first, I didn’t have a clue what she was talking about.

“You look……”

Chelsea rolled her eyes. “Sometimes you are so slow. I’m feeling sick, I think I might be coming down with the flu. I will probably be home sick in bed all weekend.”

Grinning, I hugged her close. She was amazing.

“Come to think of it, you do look a bit, rough baby.”

She swatted my arm as I laughed. “Good job I have the perfect cure for flu….” I let my eyes meet hers. “It’s the same cure for hangovers.”

“Chelsea?”

My head snapped up the moment Ruin said her name. I wasn’t the only one either. My brother’s eyes went to him as well. It was pretty obvious that Ruin was worried about her.

“Are you ok? You sound like shit?”

Catching Truth’s look I shrugged. Trying to act like I didn’t know what the hell was going on. If I hadn’t known better I would have been worried.

Chelsea was obviously a good actress. She had her brother fooled that was for sure. A few words and she had him eating out of the palm of her hand.

“Everything ok? Truth spoke first. Ruin held up a hand. Not answering at first.

“Get some rest ok? If you need anything just give me a call. Yeah.”

I wanted to know what she was saying to him. Whatever it was, he didn’t doubt her for a second.

“Chelsea has the flu.” He tossed the now black phone onto the table. “She sounds rough as fuck.”

I grinned I couldn’t help it.

Chelsea was un fucking believable. And she was mine.

Chapter Fifteen

Chelsea

My plan worked. Actually, it worked better then I expected it to. Ruin had always looked after me. So I don’t know why I was so surprised when one of the prospects turned up with home-cooked meals on Friday evening.
