He tested its weight in his hand.
“Come on,” he called over his shoulder. “Pick one.”
For a split second, no one moved, then a rush of footsteps broke the silence as they moved all around him.
Chapter 13
Boaz
The vampire had left ten minutes ago, yet Boaz hadn’t moved an inch. He stood against the wall, eyes fixed blankly on the opposite wall. His cock heavy between his legs, pulsing with a heartbeat of its own. Like it was alive. Real. Not a dream. His gaze dropped to his stomach and then lower to the engorged length.
So hard. So achy.
He wanted to come.
When the thought hit, he tried to fight it. But his body didn't listen.
The mattress groaned beneath his weight as he lay down. His right hand smoothed down his body, a hiss falling out of his parted lips as he wrapped it around his cock. He stroked once, and that’s all it took. He gasped for air, his chest heaving withevery inhale. He lay there, unmoving, as wave after wave of pleasure crashed through his body.
A while later, he turned onto his side, his gaze falling on the clothes scattered carelessly across the floor as his mind replayed everything that happened.
Boaz squeezed his eyes shut and pinched the bridge of his nose.
Never in a million years had he thought he’d question something like this about himself.
Was he… really gay?
No. He couldn’t be. He would have known. Right?
He stared at his clothes strewn across the floor as if they might hold some kind of answer, but they offered him nothing.
“Dammit,” he groaned, pushing himself off the bed.
He grabbed his pants and fished his phone out of the pocket. A second later, he dropped back onto the mattress. For a moment, he just stared at the screen. Then he unlocked it and opened Google.
His thumb hovered over the keyboard, his chest tightening as a shudder ran through him.
Then he typed:
How do you know if you are gay?
The screen lit up his face in the dim cabin as article after article flooded in. He tapped on the first link, his eyes scanning the words quickly, then moved on to the next, and the next, devouring them in search of an answer.
The explanations he came across didn’t quite fit him. Though a few of the personal stories resonated with him. Still, he was no closer to understanding what he was.
Boaz’s brow furrowed as he stared at the screen, conflicted.
Hewasattracted to Lyla. He had been for a year. He’d even imagined a future with her.
So what did that make this?
Maybe he was bi.
But even that didn’t sit right.
Because when he really thought about it, there had never been anyone else. No other man had ever made him feel like this.
No one but Alexander.
