He opened the door slightly and stared at him, an apologetic smile pulling at his lips.

“Can you give me a minute? I need to…” Nylune pulled at his clothes.

Dr Micha looked him up and down and nodded. Nylune closed the door and ran up the stairs. He could have let Dr Micha in, but he couldn’t risk his alpha scent being soaked up in his things if he stayed for too long in the house. They were careful to have their meetings last for only a few minutes. He couldn’t stay in his presence for long periods of time. Although he was used to the alpha’s scent, and didn’t react much to him anymore, he couldn’t risk it.

Nylune ran upstairs to his room. He took off his clothes and dashed into the washroom. He quickly cleaned himself up and got dressed. He walked back downstairs and let Dr Micha in. He stepped away from the door to give him room to move.

“Are you alright?” the doctor asked as he walked in, a medical case slung over his shoulder. The alpha made sure to leave a few feet between them. He stared at him, a curious glint in his eyes. “You never mess up your routine. What happened last night that has you so rattled?”

“Uhh…” Nylune hesitated. It was one thing to look crazy in front of Hazi. He didn’t want Dr Micha to think he was crazy too. He’d seen him at his worst. “I think we should sit down.” He pointed to the sitting area. They walked there and sat down.

“Nylune?” Dr Micha said.

“I overreacted. It’s probably nothing,” Nylune said.

“Let me be the judge of that,” he said, his eyes softening.

“Please don’t think I’m crazy or anything. Last night I just… reacted,” Nylune said. Now that he thought of it, it was a bit crazy. “An alpha is moving in next door. I heard him move around the yard last night and I…” he trailed off not sure how to put it.

Dr Micha just sat there and stared at him. Nylune tried not to fidget under his stare. “You caught his scent.”

“No, I didn’t.” He had been lucky. His neighbour’s scent hadn’t reached him, or it would have been a disaster. “But I spent the whole night agonising over it. I searched for ways to prevent that from happening. I don’t know what happened after that. I blacked out. What do you think happened? Was I too stressed out?”

“It’s possible. The poison they gave you, Repinuj, increased your hormones and heightened your senses. What might seem small to me might be a huge thing for you.” Dr Micha slid his medical case off his shoulder and placed it on the table. “Let’s run some tests. I can try to find out what happened. How was your heat this morning? Did you feel frustrated like you usually do?”

“No,” Nylune said. He felt good. He had fallen asleep after. That had never happened before. “What do you think it means?”

“I don’t know. Let’s find out.” Dr Micha opened the case and brought out his medical stuff. “I’ll only be a second,” he said, stepping close to him. He took blood and stepped away. He put everything in his case and closed it. “Let me know if you experience any changes.”

Nylune nodded.

“I’ll get going,” Dr Micha said, picking up his case. Nylune walked him to the door. “I’ll see you soon.”

“Thank you, Dr Micha,” Nylune waved to him. He closed the door and walked to his office, eager to write his review. He couldn’t wait to tell Ludiin how much he loved his new pleasuring bot.

Adew

“I’m up… I’m up,” Adew laughed as he tried to roll away from Calla. The okie licked his face and shoved him with his head. Adew sat up. Calla bounced away and stared at him before he walked to the door. “Do you want to go out?” Adew asked. Calla moved from one foot to another impatiently. “Alright, just give me a minute.” Adew took a deep breath and placed his feet on the floor. He flexed his toes willing himself to stand up. He slid to the edge of the bed and rocked forward. He lifted off the bed, but his knees buckled under him.

“Fuck,” he gasped as he dropped back down on the bed. He looked up to find Calla staring at him. “Don’t look at me like that. I’ll regain my strength soon. Just you wait.”

He slid onto the moving bot, and it wheeled him to the WAB stand. He strapped himself back into the machine, groaning as it straightened his spine and pulled on his muscles. Calla whined from the door.

“I know… I know… I want to pee too, but I have to take care of you first. Have a little patience,” he said, putting his clothes on. Fuck. It would have been better if he’d had a chance to get into the bathing bot before he went outside. “Let’s go,” he said.

Calla bounded out the bedroom and ran to the back door. He slammed into the door, rattling it so hard Adew thought he’d removed it off its hinges. “Relax, will you. I’m opening the damn door. Back up a little.” Adew opened the door and Calla ran out.

Fuck. He had so much energy. Lars should have exercised him more often. Now, he was stuck with a hyperactive okie, and he didn’t have the energy to deal with him. If only he could leave him outside and go soak in the bathing bot. But he couldn’t leave him out there. He had to stay cooped up in the house for at least a month.

Fuck. He dreaded it already. Adew sighed as he moved to the edge of the porch.

Calla did his business and started to explore the backyard, moving from one spot to another. He moved very fast, as if he couldn’t make up his mind what he wanted to smell or explore first. He moved to the wall and dug around there.

“Calla, time to come inside,” Adew said. The okie ignored him, scratching around the wall. Adew walked back into the house and headed straight to the cooking station. He took out Calla’s meat from the chilling compartment, and he didn’t have to wait for long. He heard him down the hallway. Adew dropped the slab of meet on the floor and walked back to close the door.

“You’re not going to fall for that next time, right?” Adew said as he returned to the cooking station. “You’re too smart for that. I’m going to have to think of a way to fool you.” Adew moved around the cooking station preparing food, while talking to his okie. “It’s been a while since we got to hang out like this. I missed it so much. It drove me crazy being away from you. Lars took good care of you, right?”
