“You can pair that with Mellow if you want. They go well together. I wouldn’t mind having two cylinders of MJ Spirits.” He laughed. “Their spirits should be a staple in every home.”
And he should be their salesperson, Hym rolled his eyes.
“Roc, the address.”
“Yes, of course. I got too excited.” He went silent for a second. “Sent.”
“Thank,” Hym said, ending the connection. He got up and walked to the washroom. He stopped abruptly.
What the fuck am I doing?
He wasn’t planning to go there, was he?
No. He was taking a bath. He still wore yesterday’s clothes. He pulled off his clothes and walked to the bot. He stared at it, his chest tightening in a way he hadn’t felt in a long time.
Fuck.
Ignoring the feeling, he turned on the bot and quickly got cleaned up. He made his way to his clothing cubicle.
He paused as he reached for his best long shirt. The expensive cloth felt smooth against his fingers.
What am I doing?
He shook his head and reached for another shirt. He put it on with matching pants. He picked up his connector from the bed and made his way downstairs.
Laughter filled the silence. Luci and his brother must be having fun. He paused when he saw Tarymn standing just outside the door that led to the outdoor sitting area.
Hym could guess who he was staring at.
Tarymn turned and looked at him, blinking away the longing in his eyes.
Damn, they were pitiful.
One was tormented by his dreams, while the other wanted something he couldn’t have.
“Are you going out?” he asked, walking to him.
Was he?
He hadn’t made up his mind yet.
“I…”
“Can I tag along? I need fresh air,” he said, glancing over his shoulder. He walked to the door without waiting for his answer.
Shit, Hym thought as he followed his brother. He should have worn the nice long shirt.
Then maybe he wouldn’t look half as crazy to the omega as he did earlier.
Chapter 6
Jamue
“Just breathe, Jamue, just breathe.”
Hands shaking, he mumbled to himself, willing his body to calm down. The driver glanced at him, waiting for him to get out of the pod.
They’d arrived back at their building a while ago, but he couldn’t make himself move. He didn’t know what was going on with him.
