Except for…No.
Jamue shook his head. It couldn’t be.
But Holi said he met him five years ago. He closed his eyes, confused.
He needed to find Holi.
“Jamue?” Hym said behind him. “Why did you run off like that? Is something wrong?”
Jamue sniffed, overwhelmed. He turned to him and buried his face into his chest. He breathed in his scent, moaning as his entire body melted against him.
He felt perfect.
Was I bonded to him?
Jamue’s fingers twisted desperately in the fabric of his long shirt.
Please, he silently begged as all kinds of emotions erupted within him.
“What is it? What’s wrong?”
Jamue whimpered.
“Baby, tell me.” Hym gripped the hem of his long shirt and tugged.
Jamue closed his eyes tighter, wishing he could touch him…really touch him.
He froze as an idea hit him.
Jamue straightened. “It’s nothing. I’m tired. Do you think we can go home?”
“Five minutes, then we’ll go,” he said, taking his hand. Hym suddenly went still, looking around the garden.
“What?”
“I thought I heard something,” he shrugged. He guided him back to the party. They stayed for five minutes, then they made their way to the parking dome. They got into the pod and drifted home. Jamue intertwined his fingers nervously.
I need to know if it's him, he told himself over and over.
By the time they arrived home, Jamue was desperate for it. He walked ahead of him, making his way upstairs. He opened Hym’s bedroom door and walked inside.
“What’s gotten into you?” Hym asked behind him.
Jamue reached for his long shirt and pulled it over his head. He shoved his pants and underclothes down, pulling them off with his footwear.
His cock hardened at Hym’s heated gaze. The alpha ran his eyes down the length of him, making him shiver.
“Fuck me,” he said before he changed his mind.
Hym groaned. “Fuck. You’re really testing my willpower. But I don’t think you’re ready for that, baby.”
Hym stared pointedly at his clenched fists.
“I am.” Jamue unclenched them. He willed his body to relax.
“Are you sure? Do you think you can stand my touch?”
If he was his mate... yes…he would be able to handle it.
