“I—Do you want to?” Ryder looked at him, eyes wide.

An all-inclusive resort with his lover sounded like the perfect Thanksgiving to him. “I think it sounds great. Do you?”

“I do. I mean, just you and me, no fights, no cooking, no washing up. Just us, together…”

“A snowy resort maybe. You and I basking in our food coma in front of a roaring fireplace.” The more they talked about it the better it sounded. “Or the pool. I don’t care. You pick.”

Ryder’s eyes lit up. “Oh, snow. Please. I would love that.”

“I will find us a snowy Thanksgiving. We’ll have turkey and a great view and a warm fire.” They’d have to go north or west for snow. Buffalo, Denver, Jackson Hole—he would do some research.

“I can’t believe this. I can’t believe it’s possible to just…do this. Celebrate somewhere else.”

He laughed gently. “Ryder, we can do anything we want. It will be fun.” It would be easy and relaxing, and it was nothing like what he and Tad used to do, which was perfect. This was something different, just for them. “We’ll stay stateside for Thanksgiving since it’s coming up soon, but maybe we’ll go to Europe for Christmas. I’ve heard wonderful things about the Christmas markets in Germany. Berlin. Hamburg, I think. Dresden.”

“I have a passport, and I know how to use it.” Ryder rubbed their noses together. “I am a go-baby.”

“Then we’re going to go, cowboy.” He could take Ryder anywhere. But right now, all he wanted to do was stay right here.

“Wow. I love the idea. You. Me. Together. Celebrating.”

“I think we should start right now.” He caught Ryder, hauling him up onto his chest. “Kiss me.”

“Oh, yes Sir.” Ryder framed his face, diving in to offer him a long, slow, lazy burning kiss.

He held on, pinning Ryder to his chest with one arm and returned the kiss, perfectly happy to go up in flames.

He could feel his lover—his boy—getting hard against him, Ryder’s hips beginning to rock almost immediately.

“Feeling better?” Charles certainly was. He was warm and aroused, a little high on the idea that he had that effect on someone like Ryder. He tugged at Ryder’s T-shirt, wiggling it over that silver-haired head.

“Yes, Sir. I like a little afternoon delight with you. It feels naughty.”

“It does a little bit, doesn’t it?” He rolled up, lifting Ryder with his hips. “Sweats off?”

“Mmhmm…” Ryder reached and eased his sweats down and off his needy cock.

He slid his hands up Ryder’s sides, fingers gliding over muscle unlike anything he’d ever handled before.

“Feels good, lover. You have warm hands, I swear to God.” Ryder wiggled in his hands.

“You have beautiful skin.” It was smooth and darker than his. Ryder had a fair amount of scars though, some of them rather intense-looking. He’d never thought to ask about them, but perhaps he would later as pillow talk.

“No one’s ever said that to me before…” Ryder stole another hard kiss. “Thank you.”

“You’re welcome. The truth comes easy around you.” He pushed at the waistband of Ryder’s sweats, and the elastic caught around his lover’s cock, the hard flesh bouncing up and slapping against Ryder’s flat belly. The fleeting cross-eyed look on the boy’s face made him grin. “Terribly sorry.”

“Uh-huh.” Ryder’s husky laugh made his smile wider. “You are so mean to my poor prick.”

“No, I’m not. It’s my favorite thing.” He circled his fingers around it. “I’ll make it feel better.”

“Yes, Sir. I believe you will.” Ryder pushed right into his touch.

He lifted a foot and pushed Ryder’s sweats all the way down and Ryder wiggled them over his feet, which would have been cute except that it rocked their hips together in a way that made him groan.

He’d wanted Tad every day they were together. He didn’t always get what he wanted. Tad had always been flirty but not always as sexual as he was. He didn’t know what he’d do if Ryder didn’t want as much as he did, since he could hardly keep his hands off the boy.

It didn’t seem to be an issue. Ryder was eager for him, watched him with hunger, and let him know it. He reached down and pulled one of Ryder’s knees up so the cowboy was straddling his hips, then leaned up for another kiss.
