“I should hope you do. And Master Cyrus wouldn’t have asked me to look after you if he didn’t know that I always honor them. Neil can tell you, he’s used his a time or two. As ridiculous as they are.” Doc pulled Neil out of his chair. “Haven’t you?”
“I have. Sometimes it gets too much. Or I think I’m in the right space, and I’m not. It’s hard to believe, but there’s nothing to be ashamed of.”
“My good boy.” Doc bent to kiss Neil, long and slow, and the focus was so strong. The affection so real.
It was a new thing to him—watching the obvious love, the way that a man like Neil could have Alain over his knee one minute and be arching into the doctor the next.
He wanted to see more. He wanted to be right in there with them. Isaac winked at him, and he chuckled. They were including him, he reckoned. He just didn’t know where his puzzle piece fit.
Hell, Alain was pretty much sure none of them knew.
The important part was the “yet”.
Doc and Neil exchanged a long look, then Doc took a few steps toward the door, and Chou held a hand out to him. When he pointed to the dishes, Doc shook his head. “It can wait.”
“Oh, okay. Yes, Sir, Mister Doctor.” He really wanted to take Chou’s hand anyway, and it felt all kinds of nice to grab hold of it.
Neil drew him along after Isaac, that warm grip so reassuring. So perfect. They headed down the hallway, past Dr. Isaac’s little guest room, and into the big old bedroom. It was inviting and warm—all woods and blues and greens.
As soon as they were all together, Doc took each of their free hands in his, and turned those baby blue eyes on him. “Neil and I have been walking a bumpy road for a long time. I respect that he needs something that I can’t provide, and I want him to have it, as any loving Dom would. So I’m asking, Alain, now that the two of you have had time to talk, do you think you understand what he needs?”
Lord, that was a lot of words… Like a whole lot. In a row. “I sure know I’ll try. That’s the best I can promise.”
Doc gave him the best smile, so kind, and there was honesty in those eyes. “Can’t ask for more than that, can you, Smokey?” Doc put their hands together, and then let go himself.
“Nope. I can’t ask more than that of either of you, and I’m trying not to feel like a selfish bastard.” Neil gave them both a wry grin.
“You be giving both of us part of you, Chou. That ain’t selfish a bit.”
“He’s right.” Doc moved in close to Neil, and he could almost feel the goose bumps as Doc kissed right behind Neil’s ear. Alain’s lips parted, and he could damn near taste the Doc and Chou, just plain as day.
Fuck him raw.
Neil reached out for him, hand just as sure as anything, snatching him up and reeling him close. His lips were right there—right with the both of them—and this sound escaped him that was pure need.
Then Neil kissed him, and time stopped. His breath caught, his whole body swaying toward Neil’s, his entire self wanting this more than he could even think, let alone say.
“He’s yours,” he heard Doc whisper, and he barely noticed Doc back away, leaving just the two of them together.
“Mine.” Neil lifted his face, and his entire body tightened, started to light up. “Tell me your words, Kitten.”
“Red and yellow, Sir.” He searched Neil’s pretty blue eyes, finding excitement there, and a rich need that made his mouth dry.
“Good. I hear them. I hear you.” Neil’s eyes crinkled at the corners. He reached up to touch Alain’s cheek, which made him tingle all over, just from the tiny contact.
Lord have mercy, Alain could feel Master Doctor’s eyes on his, burning into his back. “What you need me to do, Sir?”
He’d been with two men before, but not in a safe way, and he knew it. This was a different thing. This had to be a new thing.
“He’s such a polite boy, isn’t he?” Doc’s voice wasn’t mocking at all, it was warm. Even from across the room, Doc was focused on them.
“Yes, Sir. He’s a sweet little kitten, and he purrs like a dream.” Neil’s voice made his ass clench. “But the claws are cute too. I can’t wait to play with him.”
So, play!He had been with Master Cyrus enough to not say it, but it must have shown in his face, because Neil’s face creased in a laugh.
“Strip down, kitten. I want to show you off.”
He nodded, teeth caught in his lip as he tugged his T-shirt up and off. Alain expected to feel exposed, and he did shiver, but with anticipation.
