“You know it. Maybe finer.”

“How long has it been for you? Have you been with anyone since the night at that awful club?” Chou’s question was gentle enough, but it was direct, yes sir.

“No, Sir. Not in a sexy way. I wasn’t sure if I could. I know now I can.” They had been inspiring.

“You think so? Just watching us was enough to realize that?” Neil was being naughty again, flirting with him.

“Yes, Sir. If one of y’all had breathed on me, I’d have come hard.”

“Well, damn, boy. I can’t wait to tell the Doc that.” Neil got up and set his coffee mug in the sink. He wasn’t a tall man, but he was taller than Alain, and looked down as he leaned into the sink. “So we’re supposed to negotiate.”

“’Kay. What all does that mean to you? I mean, what are the options?” Because he wanted to play, yessir, all the way.

“Doc didn’t give us any parameters. He just said we had to tell him what we come up with.” Chou inhaled deeply, keeping him pinned to the counter. Those big shoulders squared. and the man grew taller somehow. “What are you into, boy?”

Oh, that was an easy question. He’d learned all about this. “Spankings, Chou Sir. Like bare butt, bare hand, the whole way. I like watchin’, I like to play, huh? Like…pushing with us all knowing it ain’t meanness. Just being naughty.”

Neil took a step back, grinning like the cat that got the cream. “We’ll have fun. I’ll play with a naughty boy. But, friendly advice? Watch out for Doc because he don’t play. In his world, naughty gets what it deserves. Might be a good thing. It certainly can be. But just be careful what you wish for.”

“I ain’t looking to be in any real trouble with no one.” In fact, the thought kind of made him sick to his stomach. He’d been there, in real trouble, and that was no good. Maybe he ought to just watch and not say nothing to the Mister Doctor man. “I ain’t looking to be trouble at all. It’s cool with you if I have another coffee?”

“Coffee is a necessary thing, right? Help yourself.” Chou put a hand on his shoulder. “You got to understand though, Doc ain’t mean. He’s all love and care, I promise you that. You won’t ever get in real trouble. He’s just…more serious. If I push with him, it’s because I need something, you know what I mean? And he’ll learn what you need. He’ll learn fast, because he’ll want to.”

Would he? Would he want to learn about a little Cajun sub when he had him a big ole Texan? Maybe, but prob’ly not. “I hear you. I’ll take all the care.”

He fixed himself a cafe au lait, stirring in a bit of brown sugar for the taste.

“Well, we’re not supposed to be talking about him; we’re supposed to be talking about us. So bring your coffee, and let’s get comfy on the couch. I’m all about a good snuggle.”

“You want another? There’s plenty.” Snuggling was something he understood, bone-deep.

“No, I have rules about coffee. I don’t sleep well if I have too much, even this early in the morning.”

“No? Lord have mercy, Chou. That sounds like hell on earth. I start in the morning and keep on keeping on, all day.”

“And Cyrus lets you get away with that? I know a lot of Doms who limit caffeine altogether, you know?” Chou sounded downright dubious.

“Boys.” Doc came over in khakis and a shirt and tie and kissed his Chou on the lips. “Have a good day.” He got a pat on the shoulder. “Be good. I should be home by five.”

“Yes, Sir. You have a good day, you.” He winked at Chou, but didn’t answer his question about Master Cyrus, because it hadn’t come up, exactly.

Or really at all.

He’d only started drinking coffee a couple weeks ago, tops.

Neil chuckled. “Bye, Guapo. Have a good one, huh? Don’t worry about us one bit.”

Doc snorted. “Fat chance of that.” The door closed softly behind him.

Okay. So, now what the living fuck was he supposed to do? This was weird. Weird and new. Weird and new and he wasn’t sure if it was supposed to be hot.

Drink your damn coffee, idjit.

Neil looked at him, head tilted. “So what all do you do during the day with Cyrus, honey?”

“I help him with his working. I clean his leather things. I listen a lot.” He didn’t roll his eyes, because he knew that was snake-mean.

“What do you do on your own time now, then?” Neil was watching him carefully, and it made him want to squirm.
