I wanted to soak all this shit up because I knew that I had problems awaiting me back in Miami. Still had to bring my problems with dem 9 boyz to an end, I had to let Mook go, and now Jazelle’s ass was going to be a fuckin problem too. As eager as I was to get back to the money, I wasn’t ready for the bullshit that I had waiting for me.
Chapter 3
Ariana ‘Ari’ Monroe
Iwas at the club, and we had a huge crowd tonight. Even though it was crowded, and I was keeping myself busy, working so many sections and booths, it still felt as if time was dragging. The clock had just struck midnight, and I’ve been here since 8:00 P.M. I wasn’t sure if it was because my cycle was on, or the fact that I didn’t get much rest during the day today because I had a lot of my girl maintenance appointments, but I was in this club fighting for my life, ready to take my ass home, shower, and get in bed.
Riot made it back home this evening. That girl came back with a tan, hickies, bruises, and well fucked. You know you gotta damn near pull teeth with Riot to get her to tell you personal details about her life, so of course I tried to ask her how her sex session went with Dolo, but she didn’t want to speak on it. Her ass called me for advice, telling me how nervous she was to have sex, and when she does it, she didn’t want to share her experience. Then, I tried to talk to her about her, and Dolo trending on social media. She knew about it already, and she wasn’t happy about it, just like I knew she wouldn’t be.
Me, and my cousins already had our moment where we sat together on the phone, talking about the clips, and the imagesthat were posted of Riot, and Dolo online, and we all were going on and on about how good the two of them looked. Seeing Riot in that dress, her make-up done, and wearing heels at the party, while being hugged up with her man was chefs kiss. The two of them looked damn good together, but of course there was dick eaters in the comments that had so much to say, pissed that Dolo was in a relationship.
Jazelle went on a whole rant, showing her ass on social media, posting things of her own between her, and Dolo. I didn’t follow her, but some of the girls at the club did, and they knew that Riot was my cousin, so they were sending me the things that Jazelle was posting. Every picture she had in her phone of Dolo were pictures where he was at her house after more than likely pulling up to drop off some dick. That hoe couldn’t post shit of them out of town on vacation, dinner dates, none of that shit. Dolo did trick off on her though because the bitch made sure that she showed the wire transactions that he would send her, along with the large amounts of cash. That wasn’t surprising though. Dolo, and the entire MBM were getting money, so I expected them to trick.
She wanted a reaction out of Riot. The kind of person that Riot was, she wasn’t going to say anything. My cousin didn’t even do the whole social media thing. She was the kind of bitch that would pull up and find Jazelle and put her hands on her. I didn’t tell Riot about any of the things that Jazelle posted on her social media because I didn’t want my cousin getting in trouble. The last thing that she needed to be doing was fighting and going back to jail.
Speaking of Jazelle though, she didn’t come in tonight. I’m glad she didn’t because I had a few words for the bitch. I was going to have to make it clear to her that she needed to chill the fuck out. I’ll put my hands on that bitch for playing with my cousin.
“Your friend just got here,” Naya, one of the strippers said to me, as she walked into the locker room where I was.
I was seated at my station, looking into the vanity mirror because I was fixing up my hair, and once I was finished with that, I would quickly touch up my make- up again. All my customers in their sections and at their booths were good, so I had like ten minutes to spare before I had to go back out there.
“Who?” I asked Naya, as she flopped down at her station that wasn’t too far away from me, and she started counting the bills that was in her hand.
She never got the chance to answer me because the “friend” that she was talking about, just walked in the back. It was Jazelle, and I knew from that, that Naya was trying to be funny. Naya was one of the girls that knew Riot was my little cousin, so when Jazelle was on social media, going on her whole rampage, Naya was one of the girls that sent me the things she was doing, along with the shit that she was online talking.
It was club etiquette to walk into the locker room and speak to all the girls. You didn’t have to go around the room, speaking to everyone one by one, but whenever you walked in, a general hey would be nice. It was girls at this club that I didn’t fool with, but when I walked in the locker, I would always speak to everyone.
Jazelle walked her ass in here, and she didn’t greet me, Naya, or the other bottle girl that was inside. We each looked at each other, but none of us said anything. As soon as I finished doing what I was doing, I was going to have a few words with her anyways, so it was cool.
I could see Jazelle through the mirror, as she walked over to her locker, sat her purse inside, and moments later, she walked over to me, standing on the side of me. She had her hands on her hips, looking at me with this faraway look in her eyes. I finishedcurling my hair, so I unplugged the curling iron, and I turned in the chair that I was sitting in, so I could look over at her.
“Listen Ari, I get that me and you aren’t close. We aren’t friends, none of that shit, so, you really don’t owe me any kind of loyalty. At the same time, I’m here at this club with you just about every night, and we’ve always been cordial with each other over the years. You knew I was fuckin Dolo. Everybody in this club knew that me, and him had something going on. Riot is your cousin, right? Why wouldn’t you have told her that me and Dolo were messing around? I don’t like that,” she said to me, and I had to tilt my head to the side and look at this bitch like she was out of her fuckin mind.
“Jazelle, your right. I don’t owe you any kind of loyalty. Any conversation that you and I have ever had was solely about work. We aren’t friends, love. We’re co-workers. Also, I did tell Riot about you. I told her the truth though. Dolo wasn’t your nigga. You were someone that he was fuckin. He was free grabs for anyone. My cousin just so happened to be the bitch to grab him,” I told her the truth, in which I could tell she didn’t like.
“Alright, I’ll remember that. The next time your baby daddy come in here, and the bitches ask me about him, Ima let them know that he’s free grabs too, since that’s how we doing it,” she said, and like this was a comedy special, I laughed right in this bitch’s face.
“A bitch could fuck my baby daddy right in front of me, and I wouldn’t give a damn! That’s my baby daddy, not my nigga. He hasn’t touched me in years. He has a bitch, so when you do that, it’s her feelings that’s going to be hurt. Not mine. I’m not understanding the confusion on your part. What was I supposed to tell my cousin? Don’t fuck with Dolo because the bitch that he’s fuckin, I work with her at the club?” I asked, getting annoyed now, so I stood up out of my chair, just in case I had to swing, and tackle this bitch.
“Yes, Ari! That’s exactly what the fuck I expected you to do! We may not be friends, but certain shit is girl code! You’ve been in the locker room before, hearing me tell other bitches about Dolo. Any time that he comes to the club with his friends, you would see me all in his fuckin face. You knew I was dealing with him!” she screamed at me.
“You’re mad at the wrong fuckin person! If Dolo felt as strongly about you as you feel for him, he wouldn’t have had time to entertain my fuckin cousin. That nigga is right where the fuck he wants to be. Even if I had told Riot not to fuck with him because he was entertaining you, that nigga would have still been sniffing up behind her. Dolo wanted Riot! Bitch, it wasn’t the other way around. That nigga been checking for my cousin since she’s come home from jail. I’m not going to do too much talking. That’s all I gotta say about this. What I will add is to leave my cousin’s name out of your mouth on social media. That’s a different kind of bitch, and I’m telling you that you don’t want those kinds of problems with her,” was all I had for her, prepared to walk away because I spent too much time in here going at it with her, and I needed to get back out on the main floor.
“Ain’t no bitch going to tell me what I can and can’t post on my social media. I’ll post whatever the fuck I want,” she kept going. She was trying to get a reaction out of me.
“Ari, go. Go back out front. It’s not even worth it,” Naya said, standing up from her station, coming over to me, trying to be the one to deescalate the situation.
“I don’t know if this bitch took some shots on the drive over here, or did a few lines of coke, but she got me fucked up. You doing all of this over a nigga that never wanted you to begin with. You been giving up the pussy to Dolo for months. He still didn’t make you a girlfriend. You mad at the wrong bitch!” I had to get that off my chest before walking out of the locker room.
“I said what the fuck I said hoe! Ain’t no bitch going to tell me what I can, and can’t post on my social media,” she snapped back. I couldn’t let her think that it was okay to play with me. I had to pop her in her mouth one good time.
Calmly, I walked over to her, and Naya tried to grab my arm, but I pushed her ass back. You could tell that Jazelle thought that I was going to continue to talk shit with her, since that’s what she was doing, but I didn’t. I swung, popping her ass right in the mouth. She was quick, trying to swing back on me, but I anticipated the swing, so I quickly moved out of the way, dodging it.
I swung again, thumping that bitch right in her forehead, and from there, we just started throwing down. Jazelle walked in here with a fresh wig. If she hadn’t come in here with that bullshit, I would have complimented her, telling her that her wig looked nice. Instead, I pulled that shit right off her fuckin head, and because it was a fresh wig, her edges were sure to come out with it.
By this point into the fight, we were down on the floor, and I was nonstop swinging blows. Most of the dancers were on break now, so they all came into the locker room, and once they noticed what was going on, each of them rushed over, trying to pull me off Jazelle.
“Ari, chill out. Chill the fuck out!” Lovely, one of the main dancers said to me. Lovely was pretty much the face of the club.
