I saw that it was Instagram, and immediately, I sucked my teeth because I was so fuckin tired of Instagram. Every time someone showed me some shit that was taking place, it was always social media that had access to the bullshit.

This time, it was a video of Mook. He was at a strip club, sitting down at the bar, and the nigga was nodding off. Not the kind of nod off that you do when you’re tired, either. That was drugs that had him like that. Coke had that nigga like that. It was sad seeing him like this. That’s why when people were in my ear, telling me that I needed to kill him, I tuned that noise out, moving to the sound of my own drum because I knew that Mook wasn’t a threat for me.

I knew the road that he was getting ready to go down. If a man can walk his ass into my warehouse, steal coke, and repeatedly sniff that shit, that’s a man that’s getting ready to destroy his life and go down a dark path. Once I stripped him of his position, removing his seat from the table, I already knew that he was going to go crazier on the coke. That man did exactly what I knew he would do. Reading the comments, it was clear that everyone else knew that Mook was down bad, and abusing drugs.

Everybody in the comments had their theory on what was going on between me, and him, and why he wasn’t apart of MBM anymore, and for the most part, people were just saying shit because everything that they were talking about was all wrong. I wasn’t going to clear shit up though.

“This nigga really on coke. Shit sad as fuck,” I told Duke, handing the phone back to him.

Duke stayed in the back with me for a little while longer, and then he left out, leaving me in here by myself. I continued to count the money up, and fifteen minutes later, my phone startedringing. It was Kent calling me. Kent was my boy with his own auto repair shop. The one I had to take my whip to a few months ago when Riot was with me, and my shit got shot up. Niggas ain’t been gunning at me lately, trying to take me out, so I haven’t had to take my car down to him since then.

“Kent, what’s good with it?” I answered the phone for him.

“Ay, I’m at the shop, getting ready to close, but this manly looking bitch Cam just walked in here. Ain’t this the bitch that did that shit to your girl while she was locked up? She just brought a whip in, with all the windows busted out, and she wants me to fix it. If Riot looking for her, let her know that she’s here. I can hold her here for her. Just drag this shit out a little bit” he said, and I perked up at that.

That was music to my ears. I knew how badly my girl wanted her lick back when it came to Cam. She did that foul shit to Riot while she was locked up and then leaked it for the entire world to see, humiliating Riot. Damn right I needed Kent to hold her there for me.

“Yeah man. Hold that bitch down right there. Stall her out for me for a little bit. Riot at another spot, so I gotta go get her, and then I’ll be on the way. Who all you got over there with you? I don’t need all those eyes,” I went on to tell him.

“Nah, you good. It’s just me here. All the men went home for the night, but I’m working on a truck that came in earlier. Cam just got here like five minutes ago. She still out front. I’ll stall her out. Just hurry up though,” Kent told me.

“I got you,” I said, and then hung the phone up.

This wouldn’t be the first time that I had to do dirty work with Kent. If shit ever went left with his shop, he could come right over here, and he would fit in perfectly because he moved like a dope boy. I’ve had to borrow plenty of his loaner whips in the past to go on missions. He’s gotten rid of cars for me that I’ve gone on missions in, when I needed to get those cars off thestreet. Kent was a cool dude though. He was solid, and that’s why I kept him around.

I went ahead, and packed up everything that I’d counted, and instead of leaving out of here with the duffle, I placed everything in a safe. It was only midnight, so after I took Riot to handle her business, I would just bring her back down here with me to finish counting, and we would head back home for the night.

Right now, I had her managing one of the traps with the women. Diego was there with her too. Riot had plenty of jobs within the business. I kept her moving around and just know that her ass was getting paid lovely. My baby was eating good, but she still moved like how she did when she came home from jail and was fucked up. The shit that most women would do, like buy bags, and shit, she wouldn’t do it. I literally have to tell her to go buy shit, but she wouldn’t.

“I’ll be back in like another hour. Hold it down until I get back,” I said to Duke, once I made it out front.

I shook it up with him, and he let me know that he had it. From there, I walked out, closing the door behind myself, and locking it.

I took the stairs down, walked over to my car that was in the parking lot, quickly got in, and I pulled off. I dialed Riot from the car, and she didn’t answer until the very last ring.

“Hey,” her beautiful voice came onto the phone.

“And you supposed to love me? Ain’t no way you love me, and you answering the phone on the last ring. What kind of love this is?” I asked, fuckin with her, which was my specialty.

“I was up front, and my phone was in the back. What’s going on, Dominique?” she asked, and you could hear it all in her voice that she was in work mode right now, and that she didn’t have time for my bullshit.

“I’m about to come pick you up. I got a surprise for you that I think you’ll like. I’ll be there in like fifteen minutes, so come out then,” I instructed.

“It’s a surprise that you have to give to me right now? I want to finish up what I got going on over here,” her ass said.

“Yeah, it’s a surprise that I gotta give to you right now. Come down in fifteen minutes,” I repeated it.

“Okay. I will,” and like that, she hung up.

One thing about Riot, when she got in that mode where she was working, that was all she was worried about. She didn’t want to be pulled away from it. Her ass was nonchalant over the phone just now because she didn’t know what the surprise was. I’m telling you, the second I told her that I had a location on Cam, she was going to be happy about it because I knew she was itching to get to that bitch.

I pulled up in the fifteen minutes that I told Riot it would take me to get to her. As I was pulling up, I could see her coming down the stairs. I didn’t want her to have to open the door on her own, so I reached over and opened it for her. She quickly got in the car, and then she turned her head to look at me. She pecked me on the lips, but she didn’t fully pull away from me. She continued looking me in my eyes, as if she was accessing me, trying to figure out what the surprise was.

“What’s the surprise?” she asked, just like I knew she would.

“Kent just hit me. Cam at his spot. She came through with some busted windows that she needs him to fix. He called me, and he going to stall her out until we get there. You want to handle your business?” I asked her, and a big ass smile appeared on her face.

You would have thought that I just put millions in her hands. She reached both of her hands up, placing them on the sides of my face, and she repeatedly kissed my lips.
