Her heart tripped, emotion and desire twining through her chest. She slipped her hand into Hunter’s, letting Lennox’s warmth at her back settle her nerves.“Yeah,” she whispered.“I’m ready.”

As they left the rooftop, Brielle glanced over her shoulder one last time. The moonlight caught the coven’s smiles—love, pride, and a bit of mischief glowing in their eyes. And for the first time in her many lifetimes, Brielle felt whole.

She didn’t know if what waited behind her bedroom door would change everything—but she knew it would be hers.Their laughter echoed softly behind her as Hunter’s hand slid around her waist, and Lennox’s voice rumbled low in her ear.

“Thank you for trusting us, sweetheart. We will make sure you never regret it.”

It wasn’t just a promise—it was the beginning of something she’d finally stopped running from.

Chapter Six

The elevator doorsclosed with a soft click, sealing Brielle in with two men whose presence filled every inch of air around her.Hunter stood behind her, his breath hot against her neck, while Lennox’s knuckles brushed hers where their hands hung close together. The tension between them was electric—thick enough to taste.

No words were needed.Every look since they’d left the rooftop had been a promise.

When the elevator stopped at her floor, Brielle stepped out first, her bare feet whispering against the cool tile. She turned to face them, the hallway’s soft light tracing the lines of their faces. Both men were watching her like she was something sacred—and something they were starving for.

Her keycard trembled slightly in her fingers as she unlocked her door.“You’re sure about this?”she whispered.

Hunter’s voice was low, steady.“I’ve never been more sure of anything in my life.”

Lennox’s grin was darker, teasing.“Open the door, sweetheart, before I lose the last of my restraint and simply rip it out of the way.”

She did.And as soon as they stepped inside, the world fell away.

Hunter was the first to move, closing the distance between them in two long strides. His hands framed her face as he kissed her—slow at first, reverent, tasting her like he’d been waiting centuries. The heat built quickly, his tongue brushing hers, deepening the kiss until she felt dizzy with it.His body pressed against her, solid and unyielding, and when she broke the kiss to gasp for air, Lennox was there, catching her mouth with his, as Hunter turned her to face him.

His kiss was the opposite—playful, wicked, full of laughter and heat.He caught her lower lip between his teeth, drawing a soft moan from her throat. His hands slid to her hips, thumbs tracing circles against her skin, and she melted between them, surrounded by warmth, strength, and something that felt dangerously close to love.

Hunter growled softly, pulling her back against his chest.“Bedroom,” he ordered, his voice a rasp.

Lennox’s hand brushed the small of her back.“Lead the way, our beautiful, powerful witch.”

She laughed breathlessly and led them down the short hall. Her pulse thundered as she crossed the threshold into her room, the soft glow of candles flickering to life with a whisper of her magic.

Hunter’s gaze flicked to them, a faint smirk tugging at his mouth.“Convenient trick.”
