A knock on my office door pulls me from my thoughts. “Come in,” I call out.
I grit my teeth as Chellie comes in. “Hey,” she purrs, closing the door. “You keep locking yourself away and not having any fun with the rest of us.”
“If I wanted to party with you, Chellie, I’d tell you to get on your knees and suck my cock, but I haven’t, so get out of my office,” I snap, not in the mood to deal with this hora or any of the others.
“But you love my mouth and other parts of me,” she coos, stepping closer.
“Bitch, I already said once to get out of my office,” I warn.
The door opens again without a knock just as Chellie reaches me.
Unfortunately, it’s McKenna. “Oh, sorry. I should have knocked.”
McKenna starts to close the door when I call out. “Get in here, McKenna,” I growl and shove Chellie away, none too gentle. “There was nothing happenin’ here.”
I’m not one for explaining myself to anyone. However, when it comes to McKenna, I don’t want her to have the wrong impression of this situation, especially when I haven’t done a damn thing wrong.
“It’s not my busin —”
“Finish that statement, and I’ll put you over my knee here and now,” I growl, not about to listen to her deny that there’s something between us. I glance from McKenna to Chellie. “You came in here because you were trying to start shit. So explain to my woman exactly what you’re doing in here.”
Chellie pouts and plants her hands on her hips. “You haven’t claimed a woman, or we would know it. Besides, one womanisn’t enough to satisfy you, and you know it, Heat. You love having more than one woman in your bed.”
“Could it be that Heat needs more than one of you to satisfy him because you’re all not good enough and don’t know how to give him what he wants?”

“Honey, you wouldn’t know how to handle a man like Heat here,” Chellie states, eyeing my woman up and down.
“Oh, please.” McKenna huffs and looks at me. “Is there a reason you wanted me to stay and hear this?”
“To prove nothing was going to happen,” I tell her and motion for her to come to me. “Come here.” Looking at Chellie, I snarl. “Next time I tell you to leave, fuckin’ do it. Disregard my words again, and I’ll put you out on your ass. You can also spread the word that my woman is in my bed. I don’t need any of you touching me as it won’t be welcomed.” They all knew better than to touch me without my direction anyway. Turning my attention back to McKenna as she approaches, I pull her down into my lap, feeling whole. “You want to add anything?”
“I’m not one to share. I don’t mind getting dirty to keep them from touching you,” she blurts out, not looking at Chellie as she says this, but keeping her eyes locked with mine. It’s comical how her beautiful eyes widen when she realizes what came out of her mouth.
Chellie huffs and stomps out of the room, slamming the door on her way out.
“What were you coming in to talk to me about?” I ask, running a hand along her spine.
“I want out of the clubhouse. There’s only so much I can stand being couped up in one place.”
I stop her from trying to get out of my lap and tighten my arms around her. “What is it you want to go do?”
“I don’t care. I’m just sick of being inside all the time. No one will even let me go outside.”
That’s because I’d ordered them not to. I wasn’t taking chances of her taking off and not being able to catch her.
“Right, what would you do if you were out of the clubhouse? Anything at all, what is it you’d want to do?” I need to stop avoiding her. Having her right here, in my lap, I know it deep down. I can’t avoid what’s happening between us, and I’m done trying. Don’t care how little I was trying in the first place.
“Anything at all?” McKenna smirks and shakes her head. “You don’t know what you’re asking.”
My cock jerks at the thoughts that pop into my head. I’d take her right here if I could, but I wasn’t going to. Not yet, at least.
“Try me.” I grin.
“I want to go to the farmers’ market,” she announces. “Evelin told me about the one they have going on this weekend, along with the festival they have at the fairgrounds.”
