“Do you know who I am?” I point at my cut. “Do you know who we are?”
“Everyone knows who the Black Saints are. What do you want with me?’
“I need some information from you. I know you have it, and I will do whatever it takes to get it from you.” I lean in closer. “Anything.”
I feel his fear and I sit back in my chair just watching him.
“What information do I have that you need? I don’t do any shady business.”
I laugh. “You don’t do any shady business? What about those parties you go to?”
“What parties?” It takes a minute and then it dawns on him what I’m talking about. “How do you know about those?”
“I make it my business to know everything that goes on around here.” I watch the sweat start to roll down his face.
“They aren’t around here, so how do you know about them?”
“I’m asking the questions and you are going to give me the answers. I know what happens at those parties and I know some of the girls who were taken and made to give themselves up at those parties. None of those girls were willing, how did you like it? Forced? Did you beat them?”
His eyes look from left to right, and they fix on the door. He’s clearly looking for his escape.
“I… I… don’t know what you are talking about. I paid good money to attend those parties and I was told that the girls were willing, and it was their way to make some money.”
I laugh. “Willing? Those girls were sex trafficked and drugged to attend those parties. I know you’ve beaten them when they haven’t given you what you want.”
“So, what do you want? I don’t know anything more than what I’ve told you.”
I hear the rumble of the truck and two bikes pull into the car park and when I look outside, I see Prez and Mason with Knuckles driving the truck. I nod my head and the guy looks outside.
“What’s going on?”
“There are two ways to do this. You either get up and walk out with me calmly and then get in the truck and we go back to the clubhouse to talk, or I put a bullet in you where it’s going to hurt, but not kill you and then we carry you out of here and into the truck.”
He looks at me and then my brothers outside. When his eyes finally land back on mine, he sees that I have my gun in my hand. He gulps and then stands up.
“Let’s do this the easy way. The quicker I tell you what I know the quicker I can go home.”
I laugh, does he really think we are going to let him go after he tells us what we need to know. “Yeah, that’s right.” In my mind all I’m thinking is that he is going straight to hell.
When we step outside, Prez, Mason and Knuckles step forward. “I see he came nice and quietly.” Prez grabs his arm.
“Look, sir, I don’t know much but I’ll tell you everything. Then I can go home, right?”
Prez looks at me and then my brothers. “Yeah, that’s right you’ll be able to go home.”
I mumble, “To hell more like.”
He gets into the van without any complaints and then my brothers get on their bikes. “I’m going to get Piper, she’s in the office probably scared for her life after seeing him.”
“So, she’s on the back of your bike huh? That’s a big deal, Bax,” Prez says.
“Yeah, that’s right. She’s mine.” I grin and the bastards laugh at me.
“Didn’t think you’d be next, but it makes sense,” Mason says, laughing.
I watch them drive off and then turn to go through to the office. When I get there, I knock on the door and say, “Piper, it’s me, Braxton.”
When I walk in, she is sat on the couch in the corner, she has tears in her eyes, and I hate that the prick made her feel like that. She sees me and she runs over and jumps into my arms. “I was worried. I didn’t want him to hurt you or for you to do something stupid and go to prison.” Her arms are wrapped around my neck, and she kisses me. When she pulls away, she says, “Sorry, I was just worried about you.”
