But right now, all I want is to make him fall apart.

I drag my tongue along his length, easing him further down my throat, feeling him throb against my lips.

Worth’s breathing stutters.

“Fuck,” he grits out.

His release hits the back of my throat, hot and sudden, my core clenching hard at the sound he makes. He looks unraveled and breathless.

Staring down at me, eyes dark, he says, “Don’t swallow just yet.”

I freeze, obeying without thinking. He pulls me up, tilting my chin with his fingers.

“Open your mouth.”

I do, heat flushing across my cheeks while he looks at me like I’m the most beautiful thing he’s ever seen.

“Swallow half.”

I gulp down.

Then, his lips are on mine.

The kiss is messy, consuming and filthy in a way that feels like worship. His taste mixes with mine, and his groan vibrates through my lips, into my bloodstream.

The bathroom door suddenly creaks open.

I jolt, panic flaring hot. Before I can breathe, Worth presses a steady hand over my mouth. I hold still, heart hammering against my ribs.

“Have you seen Mya anywhere?”

Seraya.

Another woman laughs. “No, but Worth is missing too.”

Shit.

22

WORTH

Mya’s eyes widen even further, horror written all over her face and she shifts in my grip. I tighten my palm against her lips, lowering my head.

“Quiet,” I murmur, low enough that only she can hear.

Her lashes flutter, breath hot against my hand. My cock stirs again despite the situation—becauseof the situation. Having her caged against me, both of us forced into silence while her colleagues speculate outside the door…

The women move toward the sinks. “I’m just gonna fix my lipstick before I start looking like a melted wax figure.”

Jovana, the junior architect on our team, snorts. “Honestly, same. My mascara is probably halfway down my cheeks by now.”

A pause, then she lowers her voice conspiratorially. “Still… Mya disappearing at the same time as Worth? Suspicious.”

“Oh, stop,” Seraya whispers back, laughing. “She probably stepped out for air. God knows I would if I were working that closely withhimevery day.”

“True,” Jovana replies, water running briefly. “Okay, I’m good. Let’s find the others.”

Their footsteps fade toward the exit and the door swings shut behind them.
