I wanted our pack to be whole.
Sin wouldn’t free me, though, and I didn’t want to fight him.
Finally, one of the others knocked on the door. Sin spun, a growl in his throat. It was Karma, stepping in with a tray with a jug of water, looking hopeful.
I had to wrap my arms around Sin, sinking my teeth into his shoulder to get him to settle back.
He wasn’t... here at that moment, not really.
As if Karma was an enemy.
The warning Vandle had given me was right. Karma was only able to drop the tray off a distance from us before Sin’s growls became too much, but there was good news—his aura hadn’t come out.
As soon as the door closed, he claimed me again, this time leaving a fresh bite on my neck. His hips snapped against mine until even my close-up vision was a little blurry, and I didn’t know whether it was from the desperation of oncoming heat or not.
When that round was over, I slipped from the bed and downed the whole glass before giving the other to Sin. His eyes were lidded, and when he was done, he picked me up in his arms.
There was a bit of him in there, the haze of his heat soothed for now, though not completely. I thought this was as good a time as any.
“Can I use the cuffs?” I asked, blinking up at him.
“You want to tie me up?”
I picked the key from the necklace and bit it, a delighted smile on my face. “I can get you out.”
He grinned. “Alright, Firefly.”
I felt just a little bad as the cuffs closed around his wrists, but I really needed a knot. And he really needed his alphas. Plus... Well, Sin with his wrists behind his back was the hottest thing I’d ever seen.
What was an omegasupposedto do?
With the cuffs in place, he was trapped, kneeling on the floor with his arms bound behind his back. The nest didn’t have a bed, the floor was instead made of cozy mattresses so I could curl up anywhere. But the chains of the hook came out between the bedding here. He would be able to reposition comfortably, which was good for heat.
Mine to play with.
I sank down, fist finding his cock before I lowered myself onto it, my arms braced on his shoulders.
“Fuck...” He groaned as I rode him, crimson eyes a dim flicker of light.
“I love you,” I told him.
My fingers dug into his shoulders as I lifted and lowered myself, a thrill going through me at this power I had. The key around my neck controlled whether or not he could touch me at all.
I hoped he wouldn’t see it as a betrayal, what I’d done, but without the cuffs holding him back, his instincts would never let me take what I needed.
All of them, together.
I pressed my lips to his, claiming him with a kiss as I tried to soothe the heat of his body with mine. His teeth caught on my bottom lip and I moaned, writhing in his lap.
The earthy scent of ironwood and ember flowed into the space then, as my heat took a tighter grip on me.
Vandle was here.
Sin immediately went stiff, a growl in his throat, and I pulled back to meet his eyes.
SIN
Crescent was my sweet firefly goddess, her beautiful golden eyesglowing in the bright light of the massive nest.
