EPILOGUE 1
Three months later…
Anson
"Oh my God! Will you two cut it outplease?" Clayton bangs on the wall between his and Vaughn's, and my and Jarvis's bedrooms on his luxury yacht. "We can heareverything!"
Jarvis giggles and lifts his delectable ass off my cock. "Guess you were a little loud."
"Me? You literally howled when you sat down on my dick."
"Not my fault you have the world's best dick."
I smile, sliding my hand down the center of his chest to his padded belly, loving him more and more every day.
"Sorry, we'll stop!" I shout back to my son through the wall.
Jarvis presses his lips together, sadness flickering in his eyes. "We will?"
"Of course not. I'm just saying that to shut Clayton up. Come on." I climb off the bed and lead Jarvis by the hand to the bathroom. "I'm going to fuck you in the shower. Should be better soundproofing in there."
After I load up my baby's sweet ass, we get dressed and step out onto the top deck to be met by Vaughn, who's trying to contain his smile, his adorable daughter, Mabel, strapped in a carrier to his chest, and an uncharacteristically less happy-looking Clayton who's grilling bacon and eggs on the BBQ for breakfast.
With Dunlop and Bremmer cool with things, I figured it was time to pay my other son a visit before the press gets wind of my and Jarvis’s relationship and it becomes public. I'm so proud of him. After getting brutally dumped by River and Melinda—who I secretly never really liked, anyway—he's built a wonderful new life here in North Queensland, living in a stunningly gorgeous marina on a yacht that gives my penthouse a run for its money in the luxury stakes.
Being in love with Vaughn clearly suits him, despite the wild circumstances of how they met. I guess fate works in mysterious ways. I'm just glad I was able to call in a favor from one of my brothers and play a small role in ensuring Vaughn and Mabel's safety. (Long story, for another time.)
He's also taken to instant parenthood like a duck to water. I get more sweet photos of Mabel than I do updates about him. But with a toddler as gorgeous and good-natured as she is, I can't say I really blame him.
Spotting us, he ominously points a pair of tongs directly at me. "You've been here for less than twenty-four hours, and I've already heard you having sex three times, Dad. Noise carries on the water."
"That sounds like a you problem, son," I say, sitting down at the table and pouring Jarvis a glass of fresh OJ. "Maybe you should buy a bigger yacht."
Vaughn joins us, laughing. "Words only a father could say. For the record, feel free to have all the sex you want," he says, with a hint of a soft accent.
"What are you telling them?" Clayton asks, bringing the food over.
Vaughn locks eyes with me and grins. "Oh, nothing. Just that I hope they enjoy their time here."
"Just not too much," Clayton mutters as we plate up. "So, what's the plan? How long are you going to be up here for?"
Jarvis shrugs, slicing up his bacon. "We haven't decided yet. But we won't cramp your style for too long. I've been looking into some outer reef tours. Figure it might be nice to see the Barrier Reef before humanity destroys it completely."
The conversation moves on to that very topic with both Clayton and Vaughn expressing their concerns about it as well as sharing some of the work that's being done to preserve the reef. I make a silent note to find a good organization when we get back home and make a sizable donation.
"It's good to see you, Dad," Clayton says, raising his OJ. "I'm thrilled you're here and doing so well. And to you, Jarvis, whatever you're doing, keep on doing it."
"Just not on your yacht, right?" Jarvis replies cheekily, and I chuckle seeing Clayton wince.
We clink our glasses, and as the conversation moves on to plans for the day, I take in my beautiful man, my wonderful son, his partner, and their child and silently throw up a prayer to Adam. I hope that wherever he is, he's seeing this, he remembers how much he was loved, and he knows that his old man will never, ever forget about him.
But it's time for me to accept what's happened and move on.
And with Jarvis by my side, I cannot wait to see what life has in store for us next.
