“Watch your step.”

I looked down and chuckled as I stepped over the puddle of piss.

“One second,” Trey said and stepped out of the room. He returned moments later with something in his hand. “Use this. It makes clean up a lot easier.”

I took it from him but had no idea what it was. “The fuck is this?”

“Disposable underwear,” he said proudly.

I shook my head and tried to hide my smile. “This must’ve been your idea.”

“It was,” he said and tossed me a pair of gloves. “But wait until you see what Judge came up with. Help me get his pants down.”

“Say what now?”

He laughed. “I know what you’re thinking. I was thinking the same thing when Judge first showed it to me. But just wait.”

He spent the next few minutes attaching some contraption to the poor fucker’s nutsack.

“All right,” he said when he was finished and looked to Sean. “We’re gonna ask you some questions. If you tell us what we want to know, you’ll be just fine. But if we don’t like your answer or you refuse to answer, this little baby right here is going to send electric pulses straight to your junk. And the juice goes up each time. Ready?”

“No! Fuck no. I’ll tell you whatever you wanna know, man,” Sean blurted as he squirmed around in his seat.

“For the sake of your balls, I sure hope so,” Trey said and looked to me.

“What were you gonna do with the kid?”

“I already told those other guys,” he said.

“Wrong answer,” Trey said and pressed the button.

I struggled to contain my amusement when Sean let out a high-pitched yelp of pain.

“I’m sorry! Fuck, man!” Sean blurted. “I was just supposed to grab her and get her to the car.”

“And then?”

“I don’t know. She said the kid was her granddaughter,” he said between breaths. “She said her daughter would be able to get the money as long as the kid wasn’t hurt.”

I snatched the controller from my son’s hand. Then, I pressed the button and sent a jolt of electricity directly to Sean’s balls.

“The kid was hurt,” I growled.

“She wasn’t supposed to be! Mitzie said it was all set up. The mother wasn’t supposed to fight me. And then you came out of fucking nowhere.”

“What’d you just say?”

Sean’s eyes widened comically as he began to panic. “I don’t know! Shit, fuck! Please, don’t shock my balls again.”

“About the mother,” I prompted.

“She wasn’t supposed to fight me. Mitzie said she’d let me grab the girl and run so she wouldn’t get hurt and we wouldn’t draw too much attention.”

“You’re saying Mackenzie knew this was going to happen?”

“That’s what Mitzie told me. She said it was fine as long as the girl wasn’t hurt.”

I knew for a fact that wasn’t true. Mackenzie would never have even considered it. What I didn’t know was if Sean was lying to us or if Mitzie lied to him.
