I point to the couch.“Sit, birthday princess.Don’t mess up your hair or makeup before we leave. We can watch a sappy movie. We have time.”

She is positively beaming as I hang the dress on a hook in the living room. It’s in a clear plastic bag, which allows her to stare at it.If I had known I could make my girl this happy with a dress, I would have bought her one every day for the past week.

Chapter13

Madison

I feel like a million bucks as I sit at the table at Silver’s.I’ve been to a lot of fancy restaurants in my life. After all, my dad is just as wealthy as Myles, but I’ve never been to this one.

This dress is doing wonders for my self-esteem.When Myles first told me he was taking me shopping for a dress, I imagined something that would be appropriate for a sixteenth birthday.Something demure that covered every inch of my body.

It never occurred to me that he would buy me something this sexy and revealing.I’m also pleased that he’s managed to control himself even though a lot of men have ogled me since we arrived.

I feel like a goddess. My nipples are hard under the thin material, and I can’t help it.They keep brushing against the expensive satin, reminding me that I’m permanently aroused and have been from the moment I woke up this morning to Myles stroking my breast.

I can still feel his finger circling my nipple. It’s kept me horny all day.Hopefully, no one will notice if the back of my dress gets wet from my pussy dripping.

I can also feel his fingers on my neck from when he fastened the diamond necklace on me.I finger it again now, partly to make sure it’s still secure and partly to remind myself that it’s real.Myles definitely gave me an unbelievably expensive diamond necklace for my twenty-first birthday.

“Would you like to see the wine list, Sir?”the waiter asks Myles.

“That won’t be necessary. We’ll have the…” Whatever he said to finish that sentence was in Italian.I didn’t catch it.

As soon as the waiter walks away, I giggle before I can remind myself it’s not ladylike.

Myles is smiling indulgently.“What’s funny, sweetheart?”

“He didn’t ask for my ID.”

Myles laughs.“I doubt he would even if you were two years younger. He wouldn’t question you being here with me.”

I sigh.“Oh.Guess I should have come here with my friends.”

Myles’s chest shakes with more laughter.“First of all, I doubt your friends could afford to eat here unless the allowances they get are substantial. And I’m certain the waiter would have ID’d a group of suspicious-looking girls.”

I’m still pleased.I like that he didn’t ask for my ID, even if it was because I’m with Myles.I refuse to let the air out of my balloons. It’s my birthday.I’m wearing the sexiest dress I’ve ever owned, and I’m out with the man I’ve dreamed about for a long time.

Plus, he’s going to take me to Edge after dinner, and I pray he doesn’t insist on only letting me watch. That would suck.

“Look at your menu, sweetheart.”

I lower my gaze, but I’m too frazzled to focus.“Can you choose for me?”

“If you’d like.”Myles looks pleased.

The wine arrives, and the man shows the bottle to Myles before uncorking it.I’m not a stranger to this world.I’ve been to more business dinners with my father than I can count.I’m not ignorant about how to behave or what fork to use.I’ve just never looked this sophisticated before.I’ve neverfeltthis sophisticated, either.

Myles tastes the wine, approves it, and takes the bottle. He places our order before pouring me a glass.Half of a glass.

I roll my eyes.“I’m not a lush, you know.I wasn’t lying when I told you I’d never gone out partying before last Friday.”

He reaches for my hand, brings it to his lips, and kisses my knuckles.“That’s not why I’m going to monitor your alcohol, Madison.I’m doing so because I want you sober when we go to Edge. You may have one glass. That’s it.”

“Are you going to start letting me drink at home?”

He laughs as he shakes his head.“Not a chance.”

I pout for half a second before realizing where I am and righting my face.“So, I’m still a baby to you?”
